But what would happen on a national scale.

According to the Australian Governments

Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the

Economic value of the Australian wool industry was around $2.2M in 2009

So if the wool industry was to collapse a lot of money would just go down the drain.

And seeing as Australia produces one-fifth of the

worlds wool, a lot of the products shown earlier

in the presentation would become much more expensive.
