1)What is erosion? Explain in detail how it happens?

Erosion is the process by which the surface of the Earth gets worn down. Erosion can be caused by natural elements such as wind and glacial ice.

Erosion happens when rocks and sediments are picked up and moved to another place by ice, water, wind or gravity.

2)Erosion problems in Madagascar. Find all the statistical information related to it.

In madagascar there are many erosion.because the people cut down trees and farm and stay there 2 or three years an go then the erosion begin.

Madagascar 30 years ago it was an island with many trees but now they are no.

The erosion has extended three fourths of the forests

3)Are there erosion problems in Ecuador? Where exactly?

‘The country of Ecuador is affected by both

desertification and erosion. Almost 50% of the country is

susceptible to erosion, and desertification affects much

of the western side of the country.

4)How can erosion be avoided? Research about the 5 main technics to fix the problem. Give examples. We can avoid erosion by using land according to its

cability protecting the surface cover and controlling the runoff.

o I investigate 5 ways to avoide erosion:

Plant grass and ground cover in huge expansive gardens and on sport fields.

2) Never leave gardens bare and exposed.

3) Make shure that homes and buildings have an adequate draining and water collection systems.

4) Adopt a small pice of land outside your property as your own.

5) Create awareness among children and young adults.
