Steel Rule Is a metal ruler Used for accurate
measurements Can be used as
guides for laying out lines
Rigid steel rules can be used when cutting straight lines.

inaccurate if dropped…but can be reset.

Sliding T-Bevel The blade on the T-Bevel
is movable It can be set at any
angle between 0˚ and 180˚
The locking screw secures the blade in place.
You can use various other tools to set the angle and then test your pieces to see if the angle matches.

String and chalk is contained in the body of the tool
