On May 7, 2014, Albany County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested Emmett L. Woods (25) and Suzette M. Guzman-Moore (45), both of 9 TenBroeck Street in the City of Albany. The Albany County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint on April 8, 2014 from an individual who believed someone had used her identity to open credit card accounts and then made fraudulent purchases. An investigation was initiated involving members of the Albany County Sheriff’s Office and the United States Secret Service. During the month long investigation, Investigators learned that the pair had opened accounts in more than fifty different names. The investigation also revealed that Suzette Guzman-Moore was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Albany Medical Center and may have also done rotations at other health care facilities in the Capital District area.
