How Can I get Involved? If you’re looking for your local Woodcraft Folk group then drop by the website (woodcraft.org.uk) or give our national office a ring (020 7703 4173) – they’ll be able to tell you how to join a group in your area or provide you with support and advice to help start a new one.

If you’d like to help out volunteering at a group you can find your nearest one on our website or call our national office. They’ll talk you through what you need to do to become a volunteer with us. It’s a simple process that usually doesn’t take more than a couple of weeks.

Why Join Us?Because Woodcraft Folk has really strong principles that we live out in our everyday lives as well as in our Woodcraft Folk activities. We believe in peace, sustainability, social justice, friendship, equal rights and co-operation. Because we believe that young people of all backgrounds are important and have something to offer each other and society. We work hard to ensure young people are leading the organisation at every level.

Because everything in Woodcraft Folk is about teamwork and co-operation. From cooking and washing up at camps to planning and running weekly activities, no one is on their own.

Because it’s fun for everyone! When you join Woodcraft Folk, you’ll have a ready-made network of friendly support.

Who are we?Woodcraft Folk is the co-operative children and young people’s organisation. We run local groups in towns across the UK and summer camps where young people make friends, build self confidence and have fun while learing about big ideas from climate change to social justice and democracy. Woodcraft Folk groups are open to everyone. We are co-educational, secular and committed to positive social change.
