Woodbury County Conservation Foundation is a 501 c 3 agency and all contributions are deductible to the full extent allowed by law. Our Mission Since 1990, the Woodbury County Conservation Foundation (WCCF) has educated others about our natural resources and provided avenues for people to conserve and protect our local natural treasures. The goals of the Foundation are as follows: Facilitate the acquisition and maintenance of public parks and preserves, especially within the Loess Hills region Promote environmental education and the awareness of natural resource conservation Support the Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center One of the main purposes of the Foundation is to help the Woodbury County Conservation Board establish natural areas and preserves throughout the county. Many natural treasures, such as Riverside Bluffs, still exist thanks to the efforts of the Foundation and the Conservation Board. Without protection they can easily be lost. Contributions to the Foundation will also advance environmental education. The nature center plays a vital role in this education process, as do hikes and programs at other parks and preserves. As wild natural areas become increasingly scarce, their importance grows. Help us protect our natural areas for future generations and teach others about their significance.

Where your git can last forever...

Woodbury County Conservation Foundation is a 501 c 3 agency and all contributions are deductible to

the full extent allowed by law.

Our MissionSince 1990, the Woodbury County Conservation

Foundation (WCCF) has educated others about our

natural resources and provided avenues for people

to conserve and protect our local natural treasures.

The goals of the Foundation are as follows:

Facilitate the acquisition and maintenance of public parks and preserves, especially within the Loess Hills regionPromote environmental education and the awareness of natural resource conservationSupport the Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center

One of the main purposes of the Foundation is to

help the Woodbury County Conservation Board

establish natural areas and preserves throughout

the county. Many natural treasures, such as

Riverside Bluffs, still exist thanks to the efforts of

the Foundation and the Conservation Board.

Without protection they can easily be lost.

Contributions to the Foundation will also advance

environmental education. The nature center plays a

vital role in this education process, as do hikes and

programs at other parks and preserves. As wild

natural areas become increasingly scarce, their

importance grows. Help us protect our natural

areas for future generations and teach others

about their significance.
