PRESIDENTS MESSAGEGood- bye 2013. Hello 2014. Hope everyone had a great
holiday season and brought in the New Year with some memorable family celebrations. 2013 was a great year and we can all hope that 2014 just gets better. Around Woodbend this time of year is a little bit quieter and it is a good time to catch up with all those things that just don’t get done the rest of the year because we are so busy.
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome to Woodbend a person that has just decided to come on board to be the new teacher for our playschool. Brittany Murphy will be joining the Woodbend family as the new teacher this fall. Brittany has graduated from the early learning and child care program at Grant
MacEwan University. She is currently teaching in Calmar and everything we have heard about her from the Calmar playschool family has been very positive. She is patient, dedicated and I think that she will bring a youthful energy to the Woodbend playschool group. In February, you will have the opportunity to meet Brittany at our registration. This may seem early but it is time to start thinking about the fall and securing your spot in the playschool. Come out to the registration and check out the playschool and help welcome Brittany to the Woodbend family.
Well that’s about all for now but read on about what’s happening at Woodbend. Come out to the events and have a great time or if you have some spare time we are always looking for some volunteers. What a better way to meet the rest of the people in the community. Just come out and join the FUN!!!!!!!
