23rd ANNUAL WOOD COUNTY WEEKEND

April 5 & 6, 2014

OHIO FIRE ACADEMY, REYNOLDSBURG, OH  

Wood County Firefighters Association, in cooperation with The Ohio Fire Academy and The Wood County Local Emergency Planning Committee present the 23rd. Annual Wood County Weekend at the Ohio Fire Academy .

The Courses for 2014 are as follows:

Structural Fire Attack 101 Course # 1063-2014-003 April 5-6

Basic Rope Rescue Course # 1837-2014-001 April 5-6

Auto Extrication Course # 1849-2014-001 April 5-6

Fundamentals of Pump Operations # 1211-2014-001 April 5

EMS Scenes Gone Bad Course # 1892-2014-001 April 5

Mass Casualty Incidents Course # 1923-2014-001 April 6, Morning

EMS CEU: “Sick-Not Sick” Course # 1936-2014-001 April 6, Afternoon

BE ADVISED THAT SOME CLASSES ARE ONE DAY IN LENGTH. YOU MAY REGISTER FOR A COURSE FOR EACH DAY OR FOR A TWO DAY CLASS.

Course descriptions and prerequisites can be located on the Ohio Fire Marshal’s, Ohio Fire Academy Website. You will see these when you click on the registration link.

You must register for your class online with the Fire Academy and also complete the attached Wood Co. registration form. Please follow this link to register:

For payment type you should select the Wood County Weekend choice in the payment options menu of your on-line registration form.

You will also need to complete the attached registration form. This is for us to keep record and to use for placement into a secondary class in the event of a course cancellation due to low enrollment. NO payment for registration is due to Tom Fowler this year. 

Each participant will be responsible for his or her own housing and meals. Housing is available at the OFA. Please contact OFA if you desire housing at their facility.

 

Any incomplete registration will not be considered for classes. Any department sending personnel to Wood County Weekend MUST have paid their 2014 Wood County Firefighters Association dues in full. ALL applications must have the signature of the fire chief.
