Women’s Empowerment through  Inner Spaces Outer Faces Initiatives Suniti Neogy: India

description

Women’s Empowerment Through Inner Spaces Outer Faces Initiatives, Suniti NeogyCARE’s Inner Spaces Outer Faces Initiative (was designed to share a simple lesson: Every person has both an ‘internal space’ and an ‘outer face’. Their internal space includes their perceptions of issues such as gender, sexuality, identity, and family. Their outer face represents the way they communicate ideas with others; hence we need to work on both for long-term benefits in a sexual and reproductive health programming. While ISOFI aimed to study the impact of empowerment model on health outcomes, Join My Village aimed to scale up the learnings, addressing the challenges, innovating all the way to empower women and girls.
