Women’s Ministry Newsletter 2015 SPIRITUAL WELLNESS Hebrews 10:22-25 gives three markers for spiritual well being. Hebrews 10:22 “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.”Are we drawing near to our Savior with full assurance knowing we have instant access into His presence because His blood marks us as His own? Are we quick to apologize and repent when we recognize our hearts have wandered from His? Hebrews 10:23 “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”Do we hold fast to the promises of God? We confess with our mouths that we believe God’s word and God’s promises but do we cling to the faithful One and trust in His character to fulfill His promises, even when sight screams otherwise? Hebrews 10:24, 25 “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Are we active family members in the church, worshiping our Lord, encouraging our church family and preparing for the day He will return? Are we involved and engaged in smaller groups within the church so we can interact with others on a more personal level? It is on this level we can stir up and be stirred up toward love and good works. Spiritual wellness is being diligent to attend to the afore mentioned markers that promote spiritual health. As we anticipate the day of our Lord’s coming drawing near and the evil that is preceding it, let us draw near to Him, hold fast to His word of truth and assemble together to encourage and stimulate one another to love and good works. Blessings and Love, Ann
