Achievements “Queen of Soap Operas” award in the late

1990’s with which she ventured into filmmaking.

For her entrepreneurial skills and achievements Ekta Kapoor was awarded with “Ernst & Young (E&Y) Startup Entrepreneur Of The Year” award in 2001.

She was also awarded with the 6th Indian Telly awards 2006 and also Hall of Fame awards for having contributed colossally to the Indian TV industry.
