An 83-year-old woman was duped out of an estimated
$18,000 in cash and valuables Wednesday and Pembroke
Pines Police said they are searching for two women
suspected of using a lottery scheme to pull off the theft.
The victim was shopping in the Sedano's plaza at 10345
Pines Blvd. around 10 a.m. when approached by the first
suspect, who was wearing a green shirt and white pants,
surveillance pictures showed.
The suspect asked for help with a winning lottery ticket
that she could not cash because she was an undocumented
immigrant. A second suspect, wearing a multicolored shirt,

The first suspect offered the victim a $30,000 share of the

The two suspects got into the victim's car and were driven
around Pembroke Pines to gather up the victim's "good

They went to the victim's bank and persuaded her to withdraw cash. They then drove to

victim's apartment and took all of her jewelry, investigators said.
The victim drove the suspects back to the Sedano's parking lot. The suspects had the victim

They'll never catch them. They need to round up all these illegals - oh EXCUSE ME itisnt PC to say ILLEGALS any more we have to call them UNDOCUMENTED. They'rebloody well documented somewhere because they're collecting SSI and food stamps andWIC and every other program that we're donating to with our tax money. They'veeven gone the extra mile and put little WIC stickers on the shelves in the grocery storesso they dont even have to be able to read English!
