Assessment Report
Bill Sims, Claim 3004339, staked on June 15,2004 and recorded June 16,2004
Introduction to Report
While doing assessment work on Mr. Sims Claim 1234710, I made a brief examination
on a line running north, then a bulldozed area running E - W along the edge of a vertical
ridge. This area had previously been held by Mr. Sims and a considerable amount of
Assessment work had been performed as documented in previous Reports. I located a
quartz vein that had been covered by overburden and about 15 meters east along the
ridge, several large pieces of quartz. At the time, the origin of the quartz lying loose has
not been located. It is possible that they are from the area of percussion drilling for
garnets in 1991 . The drill log indicates a zone of quartz lying some 5 feet beneath the
overburden.
I collected samples of quartz from the 2 sites and submitted them along with other
samples from Mr. Sims Claim 1234710 for Analysis.
The area containing the quartz has now been staked as per this Report for Assessment -
2004
Results for Si02 have been received and the Si02, over 99% warrants further work to
open up the vein and locate the source of the 2nd sample.
Only the Cost of Analysis will be applied to this Report for the 2 Quartz samples.
End of Introduction to Report. 5.
July 1, 2004
Today Dave Hanes and Marlene Carr, proceeded to Mr. Sims Claim 3004339, being
contiguous to Mr. Sims Claim 1234710 on the north and being in Davis Twp. and
bordering Janes Twp. on the east side.
We proceeded east from the road, through a low swamp and around a beaver pond, not
shown on claim maps. This is not unusual as these ponds appear and disappear along
with the availability of food for the Beaver.
We prospected several outcrops and exposures within the (south of) claim line and
failed to locate or observe rock other than schist and occasionally, fine grained gneisses,
some containing very low amounts of garnet.
After arriving at the No. I post, we proceeded southward along the line. This area
contains little in the way of exposed bedrock, overburden and forest being quite heavy.
When staking this claim, about 80 meters south of the No. I post, we approached a
vertical ridge crossing the line E W. I started to see a noticeable swing in the compass
needle. Backing up the line (Northward), the needle settled to a more stable position.
After a second attempt with the same results, I backed up once more and had Marlene
climb to the top of the ridge so I could obtain a proper line. This was made with
difficulty as the bush is very thick and sighting her on the ridge almost impossible.
When we did establish and mark a point on top of the ridge, I had her come back to the
bottom flag and blaze the line back to my position. The degree of error in the line would 6.
have been approximately 20 meters west of the completed hnc. Whatever the cause,
could lie within or beneath the ridge.
Today we examined the ridge within the claim and collected samples from along the
bottom and what appears to be a contact of overlying material. Samples along the
bottom, upward to the overlying material are composed of fine grained amphibolites,
gneiss with very minor garnet content. The contact above appears to be composed of
quartz veining, cutting coarse gneiss.
I have examined the samples and did not observe any discernable sulphides or other
mineralization that would indicate magnetic that would cause an approximately 15 - 20
degree of error.
After cleaning the samples at home and breaking off fragments from each sample, I
tested with a strong magnet and failed to pick up any fragments whatsoever. Whatever
the cause, it is not within the exposed ridge but, possibly deep seated. Regardless, the 2
samples were submitted for Au Pt - Pd., which have been Assayed by Geochemical
Analysis, resulting in trace amounts.
Staying on the line southward, prospected outcrops did not indicate mineralization that
warranted collecting samples. Most rock observed are coarse gneiss, some with
weathering along fractures within the quartz. Southward, descending a steep ridge, I
observed our flagging on the opposite shore of the Beaver Pond. Towards the pond, there
is a zones of coarse pegmatite with minor garnet.
Nothing of interest was observed in this area so we proceeded westward along the pond
7.
and eventually, we were able to cross over, (southward) to the opposite shore. It is now
close to 3 pm when we got back to the van. We had a bite to eat and left the samples in
the van.
I decided to take a look at the quartz vein along the ridge in the location of former
Ll OOE. Arriving at the vein (See Sketch: Sims -Q -O,¥ -/ ).
I used a grub hoe and exposed the Quartz Vein, downward, over the ridge. We
prospected the area in a radius of about 20 meters, taking in the broken quartz east of the
vein. We did not locate any more quartz. Proceeding with future prospecting and
possibly bringing in an excavator to strip the area along the vein southward will be a
decision made by Mr. Sims, based on Si02 results.
It is now about 5 :30 pm so we packed our gear and returned to Sudbury.
End of Trip July 1,2004
8.
Pre Field trip Report
Results from 2 Quartz samples collected on Claim 3004339 have been received. Si02
content returned at 98.46% and 98.98%.
These are favorable results and a copy of the results was faxed to Mr. Sims. A phone
conversation with Mr. Sims indicates his agreement with me to proceed with expanding
the vein by stripping and sampling over the newly exposed area.
This project is in a very early stage as only a small portion (See Sketch + Photos) of the
vein is visible and there is no guarantee that a deposit of any size will be located.
End
Trip to the Sims Claim 3004339 - Davis Twp.
On Tuesday, July 13, 2004 I (Dave Hanes) proceeded to the above claim, arriving
about 8:30 AM.
To aid in mapping, I took a GPS position on the claim line, east side of road, then
proceeded eastward to one of the old, N - S bulldozed lines, took a reading and traversed
north on this open line to the intersection of the old E - W bulldozed zone. A reading
was taken here and eastward to the Quartz vein. See Sketch and Photos. About 10
meters east, there is a large broken piece of quartz and some smaller ones. Since this
section was bulldozed, partially stripped, drilled and blasted, the source of this loose
quartz is unknown at this time.
Will start here stripping off the Quartz vein and see ifI can evaluate some size and 9.
strike direction. Trees have grown along the vertical ridge and the top surface is covered
with a strong matting of vines, moss and roots, making it tough to remove the
overburden.
I removed as much as I could using a grub hoe, small shovel and small broom to clean
the surface, I climbed over the ridge and stripped off overburden and downed dead trees,
eastward till the contact of the Quartz vein and a mass of Mica Schist and Schist
impregnated with small 1/8" - Y:!" garnets. At this time, I can only assume this contact
rock continues eastward, along a vertical ridge.
Along the ridge westward, there is a considerable amount of tree growth and debris
from the bulldozing during the early - mid 1990's. I managed to remove some rock and
rotting logs that allowed me to scrape off sweep and examine the rock which is still
quartz. Working westward, about 15 feet from the east contact, I again dug into the
debris and located the vein, apparently continuing west. I swept off whatever quartz was
uncovered and broke off chunks from several cleared areas. The fresh surfaces are bright
white opaque and clean. From the exposed Quartz, there appears to be a strike of
almost E W with a vertical plunge along the exposed ridge. At this time I can only
assume the system is open, southward, westward and continues vertical into the
overburden on a sloping area towards the valley some 30 - 40 meters distant. There is
nothing more I can do by hand so I collected several samples to clean and send some to
the client, Mr. Sims, and possibly a selected sample from the exposed area farthest west.
The loose quartz, eastward is not a factor at this time. Mechanical stripping may reveal
10.
the source. It is 3 :OOPM time to go home.
First though I will be stopping at a gentleman's place on the way out to confirm that he
can bring his dozer - back hoe to the Sims claim and remove the overburden from the
Quartz vein.
End of Trip, July 13,2004
Footnote to today's activities.
In a phone conversation with Mr. Sims late Tuesday PM, I explained what I had
managed to accomplish today. Mr. Sims has agreed to have the excavator brought in and
expand the vein as much as possible.
Before excavating, at least one or two days will have to be spent cutting brush and trees
along the access trails. Trees need to be removed along the vertical ridge to allow the
backhoe to expose the north face. Once power stripping is completed, should the
exposure be of sufficient size, then the exposed surface should be power washed and
sampled throughout and submitted as a single combined sample and obtain an overall
average Si02.
The excavator operator has agreed to work on site as soon as time and the weather
cools to a more moderate temperature.

August 9, 2004
On Monday August 9,2004, I took a helper, Adam Carr to the Sims Claim3004339,
Davis Twp. north of Hagar and about 114 mile south of the Trans Canada Trai1.
Objective for today is to open up and old trail to the location of a quartz exposure on
the edge of a ridge, east of the garnet prospect opened up some years earlier.
Using a chainsaw, I cut out tree growth and Adam removed cut sections otTthe trail.
After about 2 hours we had the route opened up and ready for a small excavator to access
the area.
Next, we proceeded down the 3+ meter ridge at the Quartz location and started to cut
trees, downed logs and debris. It took approximately 4 hours to clear enough cover to
expose the Quartz and ridge for a closer examination. I then had Adam take a grub hoe
and remove overburden form the face of the ridge to bedrock. Working westward, he hit
a contact zone of minor garnet bearing schist. The contact is almost verticaL Working
downward, Quartz was once again located and stripping indicates the vein dips and
strikes somewhat N- NW, towards the uncut forest. On the east side of the original
exposure we had to dig around a clump of trees and another intruding zone of garnet
schist, gneiss and poorly defined pegmatite. Large broken pieces of quartz were dug out
of the overburden and it appears the main vein strikes eastward.
For now, we have done all we con to open the quartz vein by hand. After breaking
open some fresh faces, it is my opinion that bringing in a small backhoe (track) is
warranted. The quartz is translucent, semi- transparent and some pieces resemble glass 13.
that has been heated and dipped in ice water. Is this quartz vein, Hydrothermal? Has a
different texture (granular) and coloring that other hydrothermal veins that I have
observed, either on claims I hold or otherwise. This will not be a large deposit but when
stripped and cleaned, could be of use to someone looking for smaller quantities of High
Purity Silica.
At this time, the vein appears to be open in 3 or 4 directions. Should it extend beyond
the opened, stripped area then a decision will need to be made by Mr. Sims as to any
further expansion or not. Good access to the site from the Hagar Road and in a
reasonably easy site for removal.
To finish the day, I made a rough sketch of the quartz exposure and took some photos.
See Sketch and Photo Section. We arrived back in Sudbury about 6:30 PM.
End of Trip - August 9,2004

September 7. 2004
In a phone conversation with claim holder William Sims this evening, I have been
requested to visit his claims in Davis - Janes Twps. Mr. Sims has indicated that he needs
some samples from these properties to test for Au - PGM. He would like to have this
done next day, Sept. 8, 2004 if at all possible.
Before proceeding with his request I found it necessary to review his 2003 - 2004
Assessment Reports, compiled and submitted from Assessment work performed by me,
Dave Hanes, Wolverine Explorations. I studied Assay results and sketch maps to pre
plan the most suitable prospecting, sampling zones.
Wednesday, September 8, 2004
I have today hired Marlene Carr, prospector and partner to assist me with prospecting
and collecting samples on the Sims claims.
We proceeded to the claims, a distance of75 km's. Taking light gear, we followed the
claim line east (See Sketch) and crossed over the marsh, then east to the No.1 post area of
Claim 3004339. From here, we proceeded south on the line to re-examine and evaluate
the possibility of expanding an area on a ridge that was tested earlier this year. No gold
was detected but trace amounts of Pt - Pd were indicated. At this time we were unable to
locate any outcrops or large exposures to merit the time in this area. Possibly at a later
date when more time is available a more in depth prospecting program could be
completed on this claim.
15.
I decided to cross southward and then west to the Quartz exposure, collect some Quartz
samples and return to the van for an early lunch (J 1 :00).
After a quick lunch, I moved the van to the south boundary of Claim 1234710. We
then proceeded directly to the NO.2 post location which is in Janes Twp. and tracked
N - NW to a large boulder like exposure of dirty, fractured quartz (See Photo). This site
was located during prospecting earlier this year with helper Jessica Leger. At that time
we dug around the exposure but did not determine if this is a large float or bedrock. A
sample assayed returned a trace amount ofPt.
A larger sample containing a brownish material and black veining was collected.
Northward about 5 meters+ is a large exposure oriented in an N -NW direction. A
sample was collected near the SE comer of this exposure. From here, samples along the
South, SW ridge and northward were collected by me. Marlene Carr prospected along
the East Ridge northward and then westward to where I completed. Samples collected by
Marlene will be combined and submitted as one from an area approximately 20 meters x
20 meters and Numbered 09 04 - 3 + 4. This area excludes the area sampled
previously and Numbered 09 - 04 2.
All the above samples to be Analyzed for Au - Pd Pt.
See Sketch for Details ------
From here we prospected several small exposures northward but within 100 meters
west of the N - S line (PI Post 2). There is considerable overburden, glacial till and 16.
blow downs in much of the area, hampering the job at hand.
A short distance south of the line Post 1 - 4 this is an irregular ridge, striking W SW
about 15 degrees. Prospecting in a contact zone of pegmatite - gamet, some samples
containing rusty inclusions and minor sulphides were collected. As we are running out of
time, we still have to return to the van by way of a detour around marsh and ponds.
We left about 6:15 PM arriving home about 7:15 PM.
End ofField Trip.
The next day, September 9,2004, the samples were cleaned, examined, and those
selected for Assay were packed in bags with II) No's.
When this was completed, all samples, with a note and photos were taken to the Post
Office in New Sudbury and shipped to Mr. Sims by Canada Post Courier, to be delivered
before Noon on Friday September 10,2004.
See Sketches Photos within Report.

Trip to Sims Claim 3004339 - Davis Twp.
Wednesday September 15,2004
I (Dave Hanes) made arrangements by contract with Access Rentals, to have a JCB
JZ70 tracked excavator on site by 9:00 AM, September 15,2004.
Also, operator Lawrence Carriere and helper Adam, along with myself for 9:00 AM.
The float did not arrive till 10:30 AM, thus cutting into our working time somewhat.
While waiting for the excavator, Adam and I located from an old map, a line cut and
bulldozed in 1990 - 91, in the vicinity of the main road. An east - west trending
(glaciated, flat lying) system of parallel 8 garnet bearing pegrnatites was observed on the
east shoulder of the road and running easterly into the bush. A cut line (N - S) is mostly
overgrown now but faint trenching can be seen and I was able to locate the
"approximate" area where a percussion drill hole was put down in _1991. This
Diamond Drill hole was set at an angle of 135 degrees Northward. The 1 st 5 feet
consisted of mixed soil and rock overburden. The next IS feet is of interest to me as the
drill had cut a vein of Quartz, before entering a zone of gamet, ferrous gneiss.
This drill hole is shown as Ll OOE. At the time of drilling, much work was
being performed on the Sims claims, evaluating quality, distribution of garnets in existing
rock formations and viability of the garnets for possible commercial use.
It is my hope when our other work is complete on this site, to open up and trench this
area in an effort to locate this quartz vein, clear it for the purpose of extracting a sample 19.
for Si02 Analysis.
Further east, there is a steeply rising, stepped cliff which strikes towards the Quartz
vein - exposure that was to be our project for today. On the 2nd step upwards (See
Sketch) a small dark exposure of quartz was observed. This area was flagged for later
hand stripping as the excavator is now here, 10:20 AM and we need to get it to the work
site.
Excavator unloaded, the operator took it via an old cut line (bulldozed in 1991, to the
top somewhat flat area which had also been stripped and bulldozed in 19911 In the search
for garnets and accidentally burying the quartz vein.
While Lawrence started to remove overburden I had Adam return to the flagged quartz
outcrop and hand strip to locate strike direction and I would inspect it for quality and
whether it needs to be expanded. Overburden ranges from a few inches to approximate 1
meter in a depression S - SE of the main exposure.
About 2:00 PM, I had Adam come to the work area and help me outline and clean off
excavated portions to determine strike and contacts with gneiss and Para gneiss on its
flanks. When removing overburden, many broken blocks of clean quartz were broken
out with the bucket and I requested Lawrence to drop this material in a pile. There are
many tons of loose quartz that can be salvaged for possible use in the future.
Lawrence cut a pathway to the bottom of the quartz exposure and proceeded to trench
E - W along the bottom of the face. By about 3:30 PM - trench some 10 meters long
was opened up, revealing the vertical dip of the quartz. Unfortunately, we have
20.
encountered a contact of weathered mica schist mixed with clay like inclusion of chlorite.
For now, without drilling and removing the face, I have no definite indication of true
depth of the outcrop.
For now, for calculating dimensions to establish tonnage, the height will be cut off at
3 - 4 meters. "See Sketch for Dimensions".
At about 4:15 PM, Lawrence had completed as much as possible and brought the
machine back to the top. I had him spread the overburden out so the broken quartz could
be removed and saved in a pile for cleaning.
Adam and I have removed as much loose dirt and rock from the uneven excavated area
and swept it, ready to power wash.
Lawrence returned the excavator to the pick - up area and proceeded home, arriving
about 5:00 PM. Adam and I finished up and flagged the perimeter and entrance area
around the work site. The trench will remain open until power washing and Mr. Sims
decision is to proceed, then the trench will remain open, till work completed. If no work
is done or when work is completed, this trench will be filled in up to its former level. We
finished at about 5:00PM and arrived in Sudbury 6:00 PM. Photos were taken from start
till finish today.
End of Day, September 15,2004
21.
Friday September t 7, 2004
Today, I took prospector Marlene Carr with me to Bill Sims Claim 3004339 in Davis
Twp., 22 km north of Hager. Purpose of trip was to locate a suitable water source for
power washing the Quartz exposure, excavated on Wed. Sept. 15,2004. The closest
water was a beaver pond directly below the exposure.
Unfortunately this pond and creek are now mostly dried up except for a few stagnating
holes in the creek bed. Also eliminating this site is the near vertical lift of approximately
75 + feet.
East along the «creek", there is another pond which is also quite low but, there is more
than adequate water to complete the washing. There are logs near the dam that will allow
us to tie off the intake hose and level spot for the pump. We then tracked through the
bush westward to the exposure and finally found a route that was fairly direct and total
lift about 30 + feet, pond to exposure.
While Marlene cut out the route through the bush, I measured the distance and flagged
her cut trail. Distance is approximately 70 meters to the trench, on the base of the
exposure, north side. About 250 feet of hose will be required for the task. There is a
vertical ridge, striking almost E - W, from the exposure and we observed a quartz vein
within the wall, intermittent at best.
Some moss and overburden along the face was removed and the quartz "appears" to be
of good quality. While washing the main exposure, a small portion of this vein may be
washed as well.
If there is no continuality or volume to this vein then we will discontinue washing. 22.
When we finished the trail, I broke off fresh faces on some of the exposed Quartz on
the main body and took some with me to examine and clean up.
After power washing a combined sample from intervals all across the exposure will be
collected, cleaned and submitted as 1 sample for WRA at the Geo. Lab. in Sudbury.
2 earlier samples from the original outcrop returned Si02 values of 98.46 and 98.98.
After washing I expect to be able to calculate a better tonnage. Even then, without
blowing off a face or Diamond Drill, the true extent of this exposure can not be
accurately measured.
By 2 PM, after prospecting eastward along the ridge, we are finished for today. I still
have to return to Sudbury and locate hoses, fittings etc. for Tuesday September 21, 2004
washing project.
End of Trip - September 17, 2004
23.
Power Washing a Quartz Exposure, Sims, Claim 3004339 - Davis Twp.
On Monday September 20, 2004 about 4 PM I drove to Komatsu Rents on LaSalle
Blvd ... East in Sudbury. Here I picked up the requested equipment to power wash a
quartz exposure in Davis Twp., 22km north of Hagar ON.
Tuesday September 20,2004
Today I took a helper Adam with me to the site and where we met Lawrence
Carriere, who had operated the rented excavator last Wed. Sept. 15,2004.
This report need not be drawn out into much useless information.
It took just over Y2 hour to unload and carry to the work site. A large pump, 12' intake
hose and screen were taken to a beaver pond approximately 70 meters down a grade, east,
N E of the Quartz exposure.
4, 50 foot, 2D lengths of hose were set up on a previously cut out and flagged route.
The 5th length of hose was attached at the top end with a fire hose nozzle. We still have
1,50 foot length to add if needed. Lawrence prepared the pump while Adam and I stayed
on the exposure, operating the high pressure hose and clearing loose rock etc.. Loose
pieces of Quartz, torn loose by the excavator, were picked up and washed along with the
outcrop itself.
About 11 Am we shut the pump ofT for refueling and oil check. I then had Lawrence
take his chainsaw and cut out some downed trees that are in the way. Adam and I opened
24.
up channels to let water and debris run out of a lower area that contains good quality
Quartz.
Continuing with washing, Adam and I alternated washing and piling Quartz and
keeping run off channels open.
By about 12:30 PM, I was satisfied that for the present, we have cleaned all that we
can. If there is more to be done, then that decision will be made by claim holder, Bill
Sims.
Our work area today, was previously bulldozed in the early 1990's while investigating
garnet potential.
Notable today after washing, is the very weB defined contact on the west side between
Quartz and Chloritic, garnet bearing schist. Other contacts can be seen but at this time I
can not determine the true length on the east south east end as it (the Quartz) appears to
dip below a capping of schist and other country rock.
See Sketches and Photos.
Our last on site task is to dismantle the pump hoses etc. and bring them back up the hill.
Here, the hoses were rolled up and by 1 :OOPM all gear was returned to my van.
Lawrence's job is complete for today. Adam and I spent about 40 minute's breaking
out fresh quartz samples across the total length and width of the exposure.
I am going to clean the pieces (about 20 pounds) and submit them as ONE combined
sample the Geo. Lab. in Sudbury for a WRA
By about 2:30 PM I had the equipment back to Komastu Rents and checked in. I then
took Adam home and by 3~00 PM my day was complete. 25.
Assessment Report - 2004
Sims, Claim 3004339 - Davis Twp.
Expanding a small (1 meter x 2 meters) exposure of white - opaque Quartz on the north
edge of a 3 meter high ridge.
The site was brushed out, power stripped and power washed. This was followed up by a
sampling program across the length and width of the exposure. Approximately 20
pounds was collected and will be submitted to the Geo. Lab. Sudbury, for Si02 Analysis.

A Quartz Exposure - Claim 3004339
On Wednesday, September 15,2004, Exposure of white Quartz was opened up by use
of an excavator and pockets of soil, loose rock etc. were removed and the exposure swept
off.
On Tuesday, September 21,2004, a portable pump was used to power wash the
exposed Quartz. Large amounts of loose Quartz were placed in a pile and washed also.
After washing, a systematic sampling was under taken, approximately 20 lbs. of Quartz
from across and along the exposure. This sample was taken home, washed and each
piece will have a small portion removed. These pieces will be submitted to the Geo Lab
in Sudbury for a WRA - Majors to determine an average Si02 content of the exposed
Quartz. Agate milling requested.
This sample is labeled: Sims - 339 - 09 - 04
Analysis will be included at end of Assessment Report 2004.

Removal of Bulk Samples
from Sims Claim 1234710
and
Delivery to ALS CHEMEX Lab.
Mississauga, Ontario
October 2004
At the request of the claim holder Bill Sims, (Claims 1234710 and 3004339), Dave
Hanes owner and operator of Wolverine Exploration began preparations to remove a bulk
sample of Quartz (500 pounds), and possible dyke material (500 pounds).
The exposures in question are in the SE corner ofClaim1234710, about 200 meters N
and 70 meters west of the No.2 post. There is no accessible route at this time through
Me. Sims claim except the OFSC which in off season is over a large expanse of marsh
and beaver ponds.
I decided to contact our dozer operator Lawrence Carriere as he is familiar with this
area, having logged here and groomed the OFSC traiL
Lawrence advised me that a portion of the old road and old logging road enter off the
township road and traverse N - NW and comes out near an old barn, just inside the claim
line (EW) (2-3).
On October 7, 2004, I drove to Lawrence's place, north of Markstay and from here
Lawrence drove us to a trail leading to a clearing.
Here he unloaded his ATV and we drove about 1 km. NW to the Sims claim. We
parked the ATV and walked N - NW about 200meters till I located the Quartz location.
Now we marked out with blue flagging the best access route through the bush to an entry
point off the traiL
Several changes were made to allow the route with the least obstacles, (trees, boulders,
deep wet ground). Part of our flagged route followed old logging trails.
Completing our flagged route, we returned to the A TV and then home. Next step is to
P-lJ7
set up a work date when myself, Lawrence and helper Adam would all be available.
END
After consulting with Mr. Sims re access and mailing a cost for removing the bulk
sample, I was given the green light to proceed with the project.
Today, October 20, 2004 is the day everyone needed to be available. I drove to the exit
location and Adam and I unloaded my ATV to transport us and our gear for the day to the
edge of the bush trail cutoff.
Lawrence's truck and trailer were also here and Lawrence walked his dozer in ahead of
us. Traveling the 1 km distance on A TV, we came to our flagged route.
The bulldozer could be heard working ahead of us. Lawrence has made the trail in and
it is good enough to drive my A TV in towards the work site.
Some small trees black spruce and dead trees had to be cut out by chainsaw to prevent
their falling onto the dozer or other people. One length of trail traversed a very soft,
moss covered area and here, small trees were laid in place, thus giving fimicr access and
avoid tearing up the forest, or getting stuck.
By about 10 AM, we were at the area to sample. An area around the Quartz was
cleared and leveled to allow piling the rock in segregated units.
Some items transported to the site were, a ~heavy sledgehammer, maul, set of
scales, tub to weigh rock as well as food, water ecL.
Pg. J
'1~
I instructed Lawrence to attempt to break off some large pieces of quartz along well
defined cracks in the exposure. Doing this, Lawrence removed a quantity in the dozer
bucket and dumped it in the cleared area. Between Adam and 1, we broke the larger
blocks into smaller pieces and put them in the container on the scales.
Each container, filled, weighed about 150 pounds. When we had 500+ pounds of
quartz, the balance was put in a pile separate for possible future use.
After a short lunch break, 1 had Lawrence cut a path to the ridge which lies about 10
meters north of the Quartz outcrop. Large blocks of material were broken out along
fractures and rolled into the bucket. We now repeated what we did with the quartz and
after weighing and breaking up another 500+ pounds, we loaded the 1,000+ pounds into
the bucket for transport back to the township road. Adam and I proceeded ahead and by
about 2:30 PM., we were all back to our vehicles.
Lawrence loaded his bulldozer onto his trailer and proceeded home, arriving about
3 PM.
Adam and I had removed the rock form the bucket and put it into containers in my
Astro Van. This load and my total ATV and trailer is just about too much for this small
van. We then drove back to Sudbury. Since I did not know when I would be shipping or
Delivering to Toronto myself, I had to unload the rock and store it in my own storage
area. My day ended about 6:00 PM
End October 20,2004, Bulk sample removal.

Discussing the bulk sample(s) with Mr. Sims, it appears the quickest and simplest way
to forward the 1,000 pound to ALS CHEMEX Lab, on Timberlea Blvd. in Mississauga
Ontario is for me to load it into my van and deliver it myself.
On October 25, 2004, I loaded the material into 2 separate lots ready to drive to
Toronto the next day - October 26,2004.
I left Sudbury about 8:00 AM, October 26 and arrived at ALS CHEMEX at 1 :00 PM.
Mr. Sims had not yet arrived so I decided to unload into Lab containers. Mr. Walter
Spooner, Chemex, had some workers come and help to unload the rock, Quartz in 1
container, the other in a separate container. This was completed about 1 :40 PM. About
this time, Mr. Sims arrived, this being the first meeting between us since I started
working on his claims in 2003.
We had a brief discussion with Walter and it is decided to process each of the 5
(non Quartz) container. Analysis for Au, PGE will be performed on each of these 5
containers. I wrote up a sample list with numbers for Chemex and Walter returned a
photo copy for my records.
My job is now complete and I have requested a copy ofthe Analysis for the
Assessment Report I am preparing.
