resides in Eastern Passage and has been

working as the head chef to promote naturallynutritious and traditional meals from scratchusing fresh ingredients from local suppliers

and producers.

The philosophy at Emmas incorporates alive-work balance for both staff and customersby offering a healthy environment not only toeat but to work and learn. Our vision of oursustainable business model includes re-in-

vesting our revenues into the community

through our hiring, purchasing andrecycling processes.

We have been recognized province-wide for ourtraditional Fishcakes inspired by Chef Kim Stac-eys Newfoundland heritage in Burin Peninsula,for which we have won Best of Food awards

by the Coast in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Emmas is a proud member of Taste of Nova

Scotia, and has been actively involved withSlow Food Nova Scotia and Nova Scotia

Food Policy Council. Our recipes have beenfeatured on Tastes of Adventure Chowder
