HERHOMEThe Women’s Fund in Georgia, together with the Artisterium Association and Europe House Georgia, launched a project–“HerHome” – aimed at supporting homeless single mothers. The project entailed organizing an exhibition-sale of accessories, furniture and other decorative items used for interior design. WFG set up an “exhibit-room” with the collected interior design items that were sold during a 3-day exhibition at Europe House Georgia. By purchasing an item for their homes, people were supporting those who do not have homes of their own.All contributions from the sales were used to support a group of homeless women who live in unbearable conditions in an old hospital and suffer from multiple forms of discrimination.
