The  Li'le  Red  Hen

 On  the  highest  hill  of  Grainville  lived  four  animals.    All  of  the  animals  lived  in  a  small  barn.    The  animals  were  a  dog  ,  a  cat  ,  a  cow  and  a  red  hen.    One  aFernoon  the  red  hen  found  some  wheat.    She  said  “Who  will  help  me  plant  this  wheat?”  asked  the  hen.                      

“Then  I  will”!,  Exclaimed  The  red  hen.    So  The  li'le  red  hen  went  on  and  planted  the  wheat    In  a  few  really  long  weeks  the  wheat  grew.    The  li'le  red  hen  said  “who  will  help  me  wreap  this  wheat?’’      

   “Not  I”,  mooed  the  cow.                “Not  I”,  barked  the  dog.                  “Not  I”,  meowed  the  cat.        

               “Then  I  will  !”,  exclaimed  the  li'le  red  hen  and  walked  off  to  

wreap  the  bread.  

Next  she  put  the  bread  in  the  oven  and  the  bread  had  such  a  good  scent

that  all  the  animals  went  to  the  bread.  The  hen  said,  “Since  none  of  you  animals  bothered  to  help  I  guess  you  don’t  want  to  help  me  eat  it  and  she  ate  it.
