A. What is Wizzley?
Wizzley, just like Squidoo, HubPages, and Seekyt, is a web 2.0 site that mainly relies on its
users / members for content. So if you’re currently looking for a site that values your
content, Wizzley fits the bill. You can use it to publish your materials under your own name
(or a username), and probably earn something in return.
Unlike Squidoo and HubPages that are in the business for more than 6 years, Wizzley is a little
over 1.5 years old. Nevertheless, Wizzley has high quality standards that ALL writers need to
meet or exceed before their articles get published.
B. Why write for Wizzley?
Many writers who would like to earn a few dollars for
their materials publish their articles on Wizzley.
Earning varies, but two of the most common ways is
through ad clicks and affiliate commissions. Wizzley
implements a revenue-sharing system that allows
writers and the site to split all earnings in a fair
manner.
Aside from the earnings, writers are also attracted to
the simplicity of the process of creating an article. As
one seasoned writer has put it, Wizzley combines the
best features of Squidoo and HubPages. True, the
modules are simple to use, and it’s much easier and
faster to create an article.
In addition to that, the site also has a supportive
community and a team that watches over it. Join the
forum to know what I mean.
Just like other sites, Wizzley also has its own set of terms and jargons. Among them are the
following.
a. Wizzle - Wizzley’s term for “article”; similar to “lens” in Squidoo and “hubs” in
HubPages
b. module - Wizzley’s term for tools that make it easier to create, edit, and customize
wizzles; similar to “capsules” in HubPages and “modules” in Squidoo

C. What topics and articles can get published on Wizzley?
There are a gazillion of topics that you can write about and publish in Wizzley. But there are
also several subjects that you should NOT write on. Some of them include articles that
promote the following:
- sex
- pornography
- violence
- drug abuse
- tobacco
- drinking and alcohol
To make sure you’re not stepping on Wizzley’s toes, read its TOS at least twice.

A. Some Suggestions Before You Start
Now that you’re oriented on the basics of
Wizzley, it’s time to create an account. BUT
before you head over to the site, here are
some guidelines I hope you’ll heed.
1. Choose your username wisely.
Your username will be part of your brand, so
if you’re serious about having an online
business, think about a suitable name for
your business as early as now.
Take a look at these usernames:
- themaninthemoon
- asdrfed4567
- jeremykim2011
- wizzleyking
The first three usernames are too personal,
so in the future, you may have difficulty
selling some guides (or any product you want
to sell) using these usernames as your brand.
As for the last username, the word “wizzley”
gives your readers an impression that all your
activities are related to Wizzley alone.
2. If you’re thinking of creating a separate e-mail account for your Wizzley pages, choose
Gmail.
With Google Docs, you’ll have a lot of storage space for your documents, images, and other
files. I made this tutorial using Google Docs, and I love the portability of my files. I don’t have
to worry about them getting lost or stolen. I don’t even have to buy a flash drive. Plus, my
laptop’s storage memory remains untouched.
3. Join the affiliate programs that Wizzley is partners with: Amazon, Zazzle, and
AllPosters. (For Filipino writers, you cannot join AllPosters for now.)
These programs will give you more earnings than waiting for someone to click on the ads that
go with your articles.

9
Read and learn more about affiliate marketing at my blog, PinoyAffiliate.com.
4. Register with Google Adsense and Chitika.
Aside from the affiliate programs stated in number 3, you can also earn from PPC (pay per
click) ad programs such as Google Adsense and Chitika. When someone clicks on the ad
displayed with your article, you’ll split the earning with Wizzley, and your share will be
automatically included in your Adsense or Chitika account.
If you don’t have an account with these programs, Wizzley will take all the earnings.
To sign up with Adsense, use this link.
5. Register with Viglink.
Viglink is basically an all-in-one service that gives you access to the world’s top affiliate
programs by maintaining only one account. If that doesn’t make any sense, let me explain
further.
There are many affiliate programs that you can register with. Now, you can always sign up
with them anytime you want, but there are two problems that you’ll encounter with this.
First, it takes time. You’ll have to register with each and every one of these programs
SEPARATELY. Second, there’s a chance that a program won’t accept you.
But if you choose Viglink, you don’t have to sign up with these programs separately. Plus, you
don’t have to worry about being rejected because Viglink has everything covered.
Find out more about what Viglink has to offer here.
Now when you’re ready, let’s go sign up with Wizzley.

15
A. Creating a page on Wizzley
Step 1.
Scroll up and direct your attention to the right hand upper corner of the Wizzley page. You
should see the “Create a Page” button. See screenshot below.
Step 2.
Click on “Create a Page.” It should give you this page.
Copyright 2013 Jeremy Kim, WritetoEarnOnline.com and PinoyAffiliate.com
16
Step 3.
Fill out the page properly. Be guided by the following.
1. Page title
Write a catchy title. As much as possible, include your keywords. For instance, if
you’re working on the keywords “Mickey Mouse Shoes,” here’s a good title.
Mickey Mouse Shoes That Little Kids Will Surely Love!
2. Customize URL
Your URL must include your keywords. It should look like this.
http://wizzley.com/mickey-mouse-shoes
3. Summarize your article in a few words
Here’s an example. Once again, insert your keywords. You’re only limited as to the
number of characters / words to include, so be concise as possible. Also, this will be
shown in Google search pages as the snippet of your article, so again, be concise.
Shop and discover an exclusive collection of Mickey Mouse shoes that will
bring a smile to your kids’ face! Buy these Disney footwear now!

17
4. Intro - the first section
This will be the introductory paragraph of your article. Wizzley recommends 80 words
or more, but remember, the more words you write, the more ad blocks Wizzley shows
in your article. Do you smell more earnings?
5. Justify
If you want to justify your introductory content, tick the box.
6. Select a topic so readers can find your page more easily
Click on the arrow to pull out a list of the possible categories that your article fits in.
From fashion to shopping, Wizzley has got almost everything.
7. Search
You can use this function to look for a category.
8. Here we go
Once you’re done completing all the required information on the “Create a Page”
page, you can now click on the green “Here we go” button. It should lead you to your
“work area.”
Copyright 2013 Jeremy Kim, WritetoEarnOnline.com and PinoyAffiliate.com
18
B. Filling up your page with quality content
Step 1.
Upload a thumbnail.
You can download free and attribution-free images from nifty sites such as sxc.hu or
morguefile. Choose which one is the most relevant and the best image for your article. I also
suggest that you re-size your picture into a square image so that in case the site
automatically re-sizes it, the quality of the image is still intact and proportional.
To do this, simply click on the Upload Thumbnail at the left hand corner of the page. See
screenshot below.
Step 2.
Use the modules to create a great layout for your article. These modules are located at the
right side of the page.
With the modules, you can do the following:
- insert / embed videos from Youtube
- grab pictures from Amazon while earning from commissions
Copyright 2013 Jeremy Kim, WritetoEarnOnline.com and PinoyAffiliate.com
19
- create a beautiful image gallery
- make your article more interactive by adding polls and duels
… and many more!
For a thorough discussion on Modules including how to use them, please proceed to
Section E of this Chapter.

C. Publishing a Wizzle
Step 1.
Make sure that you go over your article at least once. Proofread, and check your sentences if
they go together.
Also, make sure that your article has enough words. If you try to hit the Publish button, you’ll
get a box like this.
And if you use the Amazon module, make sure that each product you promote has at least 50
words that go with it. Otherwise, you’ll get the same warning.
Also, DO NOT create duplicate or re-hashed content. Your article will not get published. Or
even if it will, the admin will find it out and will lock the article. Plus, you run the risk of
getting banned from Wizzley. Wizzley knows if you copied your content. And if you do, you
won’t get your article published. Instead, you’ll see this warning.
Step 2.
If you are absolutely sure that you’ve met the requirements, you can scroll up to the right
hand part of the page and click on the “Publish” button. See green button below as pointed
by the red arrow.
Copyright 2013 Jeremy Kim, WritetoEarnOnline.com and PinoyAffiliate.com
21
If everything is good in the eyes of Wizzley, you’ll get this message.
Click on the green “Publish page” button, and you’re done!
As what it says, congratulations! You are now a published Wizzley writer! Take a look at what
it looks like. There’s your picture, and there’s an ad. Isn’t it neat?

D. Editing an Already-Published Wizzle
Step 1.
Go to your dashboard by clicking on your username, which is located at the top right hand
corner of the page. See the screenshot below.
If you click on the arrow, it will pull down a list.
Copyright 2013 Jeremy Kim, WritetoEarnOnline.com and PinoyAffiliate.com
23
Step 2.
Click on “My Pages.” This should lead you to your articles panel.
Step 3.
Choose the article you want to edit. Beside it is a pull-down menu labeled “Actions.” Click on
it to extract the “Edit” option.
Copyright 2013 Jeremy Kim, WritetoEarnOnline.com and PinoyAffiliate.com
24
Step 4.
Click on “Edit.” It should give you your page with the modules.
Step 5.
Edit what you need to change. After that, click on the “Page View” button to see your
changes. That’s it. You’re done.

E. Making use of the modules
Here are the different types of modules and how you can use them in your article.
1. Text
This is where you type most of the text of your article. Unlike Squidoo, this module comes
with a rich text editor. So you don’t have to worry about writing or tweaking HTML codes. If
you want to create a link, you can always use the chain icon.
Here’s what the module looks like. As you can see, you can add a title and a sub-title. You
can even tick the “Grey background” feature to add drama or emphasis to your text.
Now, see what your text will look like on Page View:
If you tick the “Grey background” feature, you’ll get something like this.
2. Youtube
This is what you use if you want to use Youtube videos in your articles. The usual technique
that bloggers do if they want to include videos in their posts is embedding. They go to
Copyright 2013 Jeremy Kim, WritetoEarnOnline.com and PinoyAffiliate.com
26
Youtube, Vimeo, or any other video-sharing site, and then copy the HTML code and paste it in
their editor.
But with Wizzley, you don’t have to embed anything because the Youtube module
automatically does it for you. All you need to do is to find a video that fits your content.
This is what the final video looks like in page view.
Copyright 2013 Jeremy Kim, WritetoEarnOnline.com and PinoyAffiliate.com
27
As for the size of your videos, you can choose between full-page or half-page width. Here’s a
comparison.
3. Poll
You want to encourage interaction from your readers by introducing polls, comments, and
duels. Doing this will not only attract traffic, but it will also make your articles “alive.”
Have you ever read an article that people often visit because they’re watching for the
comments? And sometimes, in some articles, it’s the comments that make these articles fun
to read.
Copyright 2013 Jeremy Kim, WritetoEarnOnline.com and PinoyAffiliate.com
28
If you click on the “Poll” module, you’ll get something like this.
And if you’re done with the choices, you’ll get something like this on page view. Now, people
can participate.
4. Duel
Aside from the Poll module, you can try another interactive module -- Duel. As what its name
suggests, this module is all about giving your readers with two conflicting choices. This is a
great addition to articles that talk about controversial issues such as the following: Obama vs.
Romney, Britney Spears or Lady Gaga, or whoever is better kind of choices.
You’ll get to see (and probably be surprised about) what people say to defend their choice.
So go ahead and try using this module. This is how the Duel looks like in your workshop page.
Copyright 2013 Jeremy Kim, WritetoEarnOnline.com and PinoyAffiliate.com
29
And this is how it’s going to look like on page view. As you can tell, your readers can click on
one choice and write their comments in the box provided.
5. Article List
This module is used if you want to display or feature some articles published on Wizzley. You
can use this module to show articles related to your topic, or to build links to your own pages.
To do this, you can copy their URLs, paste them in the module, and Wizzley automatically
creates a summary and a thumbnail for those articles.
You can display up to 6 articles per module, but you can always add more modules if you
want to feature more.
Copyright 2013 Jeremy Kim, WritetoEarnOnline.com and PinoyAffiliate.com
30
Take a look at what the module can do.
6. Recipe
Do you love sharing your recipes? There are a lot of mothers, cooks, and enthusiasts who
would love to learn from your techniques or to exchange recipes with you. So if you have
something to share, you can use the recipe module.
Let’s take a look at the module during editing.
Copyright 2013 Jeremy Kim, WritetoEarnOnline.com and PinoyAffiliate.com
31
As you can see, everything is prepared for you. All you have to do is to upload an image, and
then type in your content. It should look like this.
7. Space
Wizzley has made sure that the modules are evenly spaced once your articles get published.
But you can customize the spacing by using the Space module. Take a look.
As you can see, you can see, you can use the suggested height values (in pixels), or you can
choose another value by typing it into the “Pixe” field below the “Module height” feature /
function.
Copyright 2013 Jeremy Kim, WritetoEarnOnline.com and PinoyAffiliate.com
32
Now to demonstrate, here’s a simple comparison. The first screenshot shows two modules
without being separated by the “Space” module.
Here’s what these modules look like if we choose 50 pixels.
Copyright 2013 Jeremy Kim, WritetoEarnOnline.com and PinoyAffiliate.com
33
8. eBay
The eBay module is one of those that you can use to make serious money from your articles.
When you showcase products off eBay and a reader buys them, you’ll earn a commission. The
more sales, the more / higher commission you get.
Have a look at the module on edit mode.
You can feature up to 4 products from eBay. All you need to do is to type in your search /
keywords, and the module will automatically display the results upon saving the Save button.
You also have the option whether to display the image of the items, the price, and the time
left to bid for these products. Just tick or untick on the box next to the criteria.
Copyright 2013 Jeremy Kim, WritetoEarnOnline.com and PinoyAffiliate.com
34
Let’s have a look at the final appearance on page view.
9. Zazzle
Aside from the eBay module, you can also earn high commissions from Zazzle. Let’s have a
look at the module on edit mode.
Copyright 2013 Jeremy Kim, WritetoEarnOnline.com and PinoyAffiliate.com
35
You can feature up to 6 products, and you can choose from more than 40 product categories
from aprons to t-shirts. This is how this module will look like on page view.
10. Amazon
Some affiliate marketers are wary about joining the Amazon affiliate program. But if you’re a
rookie, I strongly suggest that you join this program because if you don’t, you’re missing a lot.
Read about what you’re missing → Don’t Have an Amazon Affiliate Account Yet? You’re Losing
a Lot!

36
What I like about this module is that you can configure it to make the resulting products look
interesting. You can choose from four choices: list, gallery, carousel, and mp3 widget. You
can also configure the module to show or hide the following: product name / title, price,
view on Amazon button, and manufacturer / publisher.
Take a look at the following results.
a. List
b. Gallery
Copyright 2013 Jeremy Kim, WritetoEarnOnline.com and PinoyAffiliate.com
37
c. Carousel
d. mp3 widget
11. AllPosters
One of the techniques of affiliate marketers is to use images from Amazon and AllPosters.
These images are free to use, and they’re attribution-free. Plus, these images also serve a
double purpose. They serve as a product that your readers can buy. So if you want to earn
extra money from photos, join Amazon and AllPosters and display their images / products on
your articles.
Copyright 2013 Jeremy Kim, WritetoEarnOnline.com and PinoyAffiliate.com
38
Let’s have a look at the AllPosters module.
This is how it looks like on page view.
Copyright 2013 Jeremy Kim, WritetoEarnOnline.com and PinoyAffiliate.com
39
12. Images
Use the Images module to feature your own photographs. As what the module says, "Use only
sources for which you own the copyright." If you don’t have your own photos, use the
Amazon, AllPosters, and eBay modules.
Here’s the final appearance on page view.

40
13. Flickr
Flickr is one great resource for photos uploaded by individuals around the world. Use this
module if you don’t want to upload your own images.
Here’s the final look.
Copyright 2013 Jeremy Kim, WritetoEarnOnline.com and PinoyAffiliate.com
41
14. Map
If you’re writing an article about the places you’ve been to before, it’s best to show a map so
your readers will know these places’ exact location.
For this, you can use the Map module.
Take a look at the module in edit mode.
Here’s the final look.
Copyright 2013 Jeremy Kim, WritetoEarnOnline.com and PinoyAffiliate.com
42
15. Link List
If you want to feature some articles published on Wizzley, you can use the “Article List”
module. But if you want to feature articles from external sources, you can use the “Link List”
module.
Take a look.
And here’s the final look on page view.
Copyright 2013 Jeremy Kim, WritetoEarnOnline.com and PinoyAffiliate.com
43
16. Feed
If you own a blog or another website and want your readers to be updated about its content,
you can use the Feed module. All you have to know is the URL of your feed. For instance, in
one of my blogs, the feed URL is http://feeds.feedburner.com/PinoyAffiliate. If I use the
feed module, it will automatically “feed” the article with new content.
Take a look at how the module works.
Here’s the final look.
As you can see, it’s similar to the Link List module, but the difference is that this module
automatically updates your article with new content.
Copyright 2013 Jeremy Kim, WritetoEarnOnline.com and PinoyAffiliate.com
44
17. Contents
As what the name suggests, this module is for creating a neat Table of Contents for your
article. You can choose to show a two-column TOC by ticking the right box. You can also
choose which modules to show or hide by simply ticking the right boxes.
Here’s the final look for a two-column layout.

45
F. Customizing your page
Aside from the modules, you can also customize your articles by using the features and
functions included in the box below the modules box. They are located at the right corner of
the edit page, as seen below.
The box has four functions / features that can help you customize your page. Here is a list of
these features, what they can do, and how you can use them for better-looking pages.
1. Scheme
This function can help you choose a background color for your article. You can also pick one
of the pretty designs to give it a cute twist. Also, if you don’t like the default text of your
titles, you can choose from among 10 other font families / types.
Let’s choose the pink box, the twirly design, and the Lobster font.

46
This will give us...
Notice the twirly, pink background and the beautiful font of our title and headings.

47
2. Sidebar
This feature allows you to feature or hide 4 to 5 Wizzley articles on the sidebar. To use this
feature, let’s select articles we want to feature, copy their URLs, and then paste then in the
box provided, something like this.
Make sure that you have the right URLs, and that you include only one URL per line. After
typing in one URL, press the enter key, and then type one URL again.
As previously mentioned, you can put 4 or 5 articles. But depending on the length of your
article, not all the articles will show up in the sidebar.
Let’s have an example.
Copyright 2013 Jeremy Kim, WritetoEarnOnline.com and PinoyAffiliate.com
48
3. Modules
This function gives you a bird’s-eye view of your articles’ modules. If you want to re-arrange
these modules, you can always drag one module and drop it to the desired position. When
done, click on the “Save” button.
If you don’t like this method, you can always use the Up and Down arrows of the modules.
Click on the up arrow to move a module up one level, or the down arrow to move it down.

49
4. Options
If you’re not comfortable with your readers sharing your article and images on Pinterest, you
can always opt out of this feature by going to Options. Take a look.
You can also see “Viglink Merchant Coverage” and “Export as text.” For Viglink Merchant
Coverage, click here to know more about this. As for “Expert as text,” you can use this
function if you want to make a copy of your article in plain text.
