We have planned and installed many high quality, sophisticated, integrated security systems as well as datacenters since 1997. We are especially proud of our latest datacenter reference for CERN, which is one of the state-of-the-art projects of this type in Central Europe.

CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, is one of the world’s largest and most respected centers for scientific research. Its business is fundamental physics, finding out what the Universe is made of and how it works. At CERN, the world’s largest and most complex scientific instruments are used to study the basic constituents of matter — the fundamental particles. By studying what happens when these particles collide, physicists learn about the laws of Nature.

CERN@WIGNER DATACENTER

Assigned by MTA WIGNER Research Centre for Physics (Wigner RCP) the 2012 installation of CERN’s highest level datacenter to Budapest was the biggest success of the Hungarian academic and info-communication life. The facility that was implemented in Csillebérc receives data directly from the Swiss particle accelerator via one of the world’s fastest network data connection to the supercomputers.

The project, in addition to its primary mission, has a great effect on several areas of both Hungary and the CERN as well as the Hungarian and international scientific life. Our corporation had obtained the honorable mandate and mission to design and implement the concept developed by the colleagues of Wigner RCP within a very short deadline.

The investment carried out in half of the normal scheduled time and has already been finished and put in operation together with great inventions in datacenter technology.(Total power capacity of 8MW, with high-density cooling of 3,5kW/m2.)

The extension of the governmental electronic activities put up a claim for the creation of such central administrative and office areas that are able to comfortably house the latest IT technology and the operating staff. During the realization of the investment the most safe and secure IT datacenter of Hungary has been created which also is in connection to service areas - office and storage places - that were constructed on the basis of the most modern and safe requirements for high density computing.

During the execution of the project our company did all the general construction design as a main contractor and still provides the necessary maintenance and availability service.
