WHAT IS SPECTRUM:-A band of colours produced by

separating into parts with different wavelength.

The spectrum which contains electric field and magnetic

field having rectangle to each other is know as

electromagnetic spectrum.

The frequency range from 2GHz to 300GHz which is

allowed to transmit in is called microwave spectrum.

Microwave means the frequency which travels a large distance in a µms.

Microwaves are good for transmitting information from one place to another because microwave energy can penetrate haze, light rain and snow, clouds, and smokes.

The wave length of this can be measure in centimeters.

In the output side we use a important device that is MAGNETRON which is gives high power output which is required in communication.

There is a cavities in the input side which is controls the output frequency.

A circulator is a another part of the transmitter side which helps to transmit the microwave from transmitter side to receiver side.

In the receiver side we used two important device. One is rectenna and other is a simple sensor circuit.

The rectenna is used to convert the microwave energy into DC electricity.

A simple rectenna can be constructed from a Schottky diode placed between antenna dipoles.

The diode rectifies the current induced in the antenna by the microwaves.

The study is done that use of bridge is better than a single Schottky diode.

But this purpose is achieved low cost microwave rectifier with single Schottky diode for low and high power level has a good performance.

Here the input impedance is matching with the frequency 2.45GHz and increase the sensitive at low level of power.

It is a simple circuit, which detects if the mobile phone receives any

message signal.

The sensor circuit is required as the phone has to be charged as

long as the user is talking.

Here a simple powerful F to V converter LM2907 is used to serve our

purpose, which is act as a switch for triggering rectenna circuit to ON.

Thus the mobile phone beings to charge using the microwave power.

This paper successfully demonstrates a novel method of

using power the microwave to charge the mobile phones

without the use of wired chargers.

The use of rectenna and a sensor in a mobile phone could provide a new dimension in the revelation of mobile phone.
