[5] Open 24 20-gauge brass jump rings and connect one brass jump ring to a pair of Bs as in step 3 (photo d).[6] Cut a 6-in. (15cm) piece of 20-gauge brass wire. Bend the wire around a 1-in. (2.5cm) dowel. Make a right-angle bend on the top of the circle, leaving a 1⁄2-in. (1.3cm) overlap. Straighten the wire above the bend (photo e). Put the wire frame on a steel block or anvil, and tap it with a hammer to harden it.[7] Slide the entire outer round of jump rings onto the wire frame (photo f).[8] To maintain the frame’s

diameter, grasp the crossed wires with chainnose pliers, and wrap the short tail around the long tail twice, making the wraps next to the pliers (photo g). Trim the short wire.[9] String an accent bead and make a wrapped loop (Basics). Open the loop of an earring finding and attach it to the wrapped loop.[10] Make a second earring to match the first. w
