Testing Magnet ClearanceTesting Magnet Clearance

1. Insert nail through box2. Attach two pairs of

magnets to the nail inside of the box.

3. Magnetism will hold magnets to nail

4. With magnets centered on nail, test spin the nail to ensure clearance.

Test it!Test it!

1. Spin nail with fingers trying to start out a little slow then building speed as not to throw off the magnets

2. A cordless screwdriver may work well but use at slow setting or magnets will come loose.

3. The lamp will illuminate when spinning the magnets in either direction.

4. Faster speeds produce brighter light.

5. Magnets are prone to shift and will need centering regularly.
