Kitting

Kitting place a circle roll in determine in the performance of a small lot multi

product, multi level manufacturing system. The material required for the

manufacturing process is obtained in kitting section we are analysis a kitting process

of assemble system by training as an assembly like Q u eue.

Specially we investigate the dynamics involved in the simple kitting process

when two independent in put streams feed into an assembly process.

Unlike previous studies in this domain, we release the assumption of finite

buffer capacity constraint on the input buffer and still show that the system.

It will provide manufacturing system design with verity of control parameter to

choose from in evaluating the sytem performance under a much broader set of

control polices which would lead to minimizing the associated costs.

IQC

IQC is the important procedure to control and ensure the quality of product it is

also the first step to control the product quality before production. The LQC operation

level not only affect the quality of finished product but also the production cost

compare normal incoming check, restricted substance control is one special mode of

LQC that requires more man power and resources.

Second phase is to pre run in Dos mode through HDD.

2. Power on the machine boot the machine into CMOS

3. Enable Lab boot Rom which is required set first boot device as Lan if

required boot the machine through Lan in Winpe mode

4. Insert testing media before starting will ask for machine serial number

Burn in Process

Anytime you use new computer components, you are subject to the effects of

manufacturing defects, shipping damage, and many other possible sources of

component failure. A "burn in" process stresses these components, so that if they are

close to failure, we can make sure they break here so we can fix or replace them. It is

much like the way Boeing puts huge stresses on aircraft wings before flying the

aircraft -- if the wings have a defect and are going to fail, they want that failure to

happen before the aircraft leaves the plant. So, a burn in is a way of ensuring that

only hardware without defect leaves our facility.

What exactly do we do? The first tests we run are very targeted, and put a

high amount of stress on individual components. Memory is tested with the utility

from MemTest86.com, the CPU is tested at the same time (MemTest86 also stresses

the CPU). The hard drive is tested with the manufacturer's factory certification utility.

This all takes about 6 hours. Windows is then installed, and all driver updates are

installed. At that time, we use two utilities from FutureMark.com -- PCMark and

3DMark. PCMark stresses the system with everyday functions (JPEG compression,

audio conversion, 2D display, etc), while 3DMark tests the 3D video acceleration on

your video card and directX software. These utilities are also used to provide

benchmark data, and they are often left looping when the system is in standby for the

next step. These utilities stress all aspects of your system simultaneously, and

causes the system to run as hot as it can possibly run. This is when we monitor the

temperature of your system to ensure adequate cooling. This test is run for the

remainder of the testing period. Most problems uncovered in our burn in process are

found very early. Memory problems are usually found within 5 minutes, and

temperature problems within an hour of the last step.

Quality Assurance Test

Wipro develops test plans, test methodologies, execution test procedures, and

can provide systems configuration and complete test bed setups. Wipro test

engineers perform customer specified quality assurance testing projects and provide

deliverables including complete test report of all test cases, anomaly report for each

defect, regression report for each fix, and a final report summarizing all test results.

The Testing phase comprises of nearly 30% of the total software development

lifecycle and has emerged as a strategic function. Every defect found early in the

software development lifecycle saves millions of dollars of revenues for the

companies. A recent analyst study stated that “finding and repairing software defects

post-production, costs the average American company upward of $22 million and

that 80% of software development dollars go to defect repair.”

As per this inplant training I learned many more thing about the computer

manufacturing. The learned things are submitted in this report. I am very proud to

attend this inplant training.

And the company maintenance is very nice. If I complete my study I am willing
