PAGE 2—HOLIDAY TIMES, WINTER 2015

In Grateful AppreciationHoliday Pocono would like

to take this time to thank our Volunteers and Members of our Community that assist with our various events.

Thank you to Joe Puskar for continuing to collect and take all aluminum cans to turn them in for scrap metal. We greatly appreciate all of your efforts Joe!

Thank you to those of you who have so generously do-nated food for the Food pan-tries.

Thank you to all of those who have so generously donated toys for our Annual Toys for Tots drive. The United States Marine Corps picked up the toys on Tuesday December 9th and thank everyone who so generously donated to make the holidays special for children in need!

We will be collecting Toys

at our Office throughout all of 2015 for our Annual Toys for Tots Drive!

We will continue to col-lect food and sundry items throughout all of 2015 for the local Food Pantries!

Thank you to the workers of Northeast Site Contractors and RKR Hess who worked so hard along with our staff: Ar-nie Castka, Rocky Croce, and John Parese for all their efforts to repair the Holiday Bridge Culvert. This project took a lit-tle longer than we anticipated due to the rains and inclement weather but these men worked in harsh conditions to install the new bridge and complete all the work to make our roads safer for everyone to travel.

Thank you to all the men and women Emergency Re-sponders including but not limited to: Kidder Township

Police, Albrightsville Volunteer Fire Company, Lake Harmo-ny Rescue, Lehighton Ambu-lance, DCNR, PA State Police, and Carbon County Sheriff’s Department who are so ded-icated to protecting and serv-ing our community. We greatly appreciate all you do to keep us safe!

Thank you to our members and their families who support the Albrightsville Volunteer Fire Company weekly Satur-day night Bingo and monthly “All you can Eat” Breakfast held the first Sunday of each month. The Firehouse greatly appreciates your involvement and support.

Holiday Pocono Gate Card Policy

Gate cards are issued to homeowners and lot owners only and must be picked up in person. You will be asked to provide photo identification at the office when obtaining all gate cards.

It is the responsibility of homeowners who are renting their properties to provide gate cards to their renters. The of-fice will not provide gate cards to renters under any circum-stances.

When selling your home, it is the responsibility of the seller to turn over all gate cards to the new owner(s). Before do-ing so, please notify the office so we can update our system to reflect the proper owner of the gate card(s). New owners are urged to notify the office

when you receive gate cards so we can ensure our system is updated accordingly. Failure to do so could result in your gate cards being terminated.

Per the board of directors as of April 1989 and as published in the April 1989 newsletter: “homeowners will receive two (2) cards. Lot owners will re-ceive one (1) card regardless of the number of homes/lots owned. There is a limit of seven (7) cards per homeowner and three (3) cards per lot owner. Distribution of the cards is the same as voting under the by-laws. That is homes/lots under same ownership.”

There is a $25 charge for additional/replacement gate cards.

deepest condolences to the families and friends of those who have recently left us.
