The STARTUP WORLD Award selects the best innovations in the catego-ries of service robotics and

automation. Come and visit the Awards Ceremony with its future high-flyers and their products. The winners are announced on 22 June at 16:00 in the AUTOMATICA FORUM, hall A5. The participating startups have the requirement to possess market-ready products or prototypes which are already (or very close to be) in the market launch phase.

The STARTUP WORLD Stage offers inspiring expert lectures, illustrating the nagging issue of how

large enterprises can work together with startups and profit from their innovative ability. Experience enthu-siastic product demonstrations and panel discussions, dealing with current and future developments in the fields of service robotics and automation on all four days of AUTOMATICA 2016.

AWARD RESULTS 2016The STARTUP WORLD Award at AUTOMATICA 2016 seeks to aid startups in bringing groundbreaking product innovations to market. The competition addresses startups in the global technology community that are no more than five years old and possess at least an available prototype of their submitted solution. Prizes will be awarded in two categories: service robotics and automation.

The 2016 finalists will present their product innovations at the STARTUP WORLD Market at AUTOMATICA. The winners will be announced on 22 June at 16:00 in the AUTOMATICA FORUM, hall A5.

Entrants are particularly encouraged to follow technology trends like connected robots and robotics in the cloud, augmented reality robotics, micro- and nanorobots, wearable robotics, flying robots, and swarm robotics.
