AKC Dog Agility Trials

Bring your folding chair and enjoy the morning in Boulder City while we experience the AKC

Dog Agility Trials. Watch the Master and Excellent rated dogs run the agility courses. Our

afternoon will be followed by lunch at Fox Smokehouse BBQ. Lunch will be on your own.

Clark County Parks and Recreation will present the 20st Annual Life in Death Festival: The Day of the Dead in Las Vegas from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 1 and 2 at Winchester Cultural Center and Park, 3130 S. McLeod Drive, just north of Desert Inn Road. This is the 20st

year of honoring the dead and mocking death with the festival’s patron, Elizadeath, in the guise of a Las Vegas showgirl. Admission is free but be sure to bring money for the traditional food

and craft vendors. Parking is limited, so carpooling is highly recommended.

Clark County Parks and Recreation will present the Las Vegas based Jazz quartet Shapiro Project, led by Eugene Shapiro on Wednesday December 15th at 7pm at Winchester Cultural

Center. The Shapiro Project will be playing Christmas tunes and original jazz music. The Shapiro Project has three albums to their credit with his original compositions, “True

Colors” (TNC Jazz Recordings), “Open Road" (C&P), and "Planet X" (C&P). Eugene Shapiro and the Shapiro Project have appeared at many music and Jazz festivals, including Spirit of Music Festival in San Francisco, CA, Lionel Hampton Jazz festival in Moscow, ID, Fremont Street Jazz

Festival in Las Vegas, NV, and the International Association of Jazz Educators Conference (IAJE) in Los Angeles, CA.

No Snow Santa Show. It has been very warm in the North Pole and Santa is feeling blue. Through song, dance, and the help from the magical audiences participation, help the elves

bring back Santa’s Christmas spirit! Bring your families and enjoy the day.
