In January 2010, we lost our mother, Barbara Dowell, to a terrible disease. She was a passionate and unique individual with a love for life and a strong sense of family. Her battle with cancer lasted almost five years. Barbara left behind many loved ones. Her children, Patricia, Brian, Andrew and Matthew wanted to leave behind a legacy that they felt spoke to the kind of person Barbara was. She was a caring, strong woman who wanted the best for all people. One of her deepest loves was being a grandmother. So, in an effort to help others impacted by this terrible disease, the Wings of Hope organization was born. For the past six years, Barbara’s children, husband George, and many family members and friends have supported the Wings of Hope Golf tournament with proceeds going to cancer related philanthropies. This year, Wings of Hope is proud to present the Third Annual Wings of Hope Benefit Concert. This event celebrates one of Barbara's favorite pastimes, musical perform-ance. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we ask that you consider supporting us this year. Our ongoing goal is to raise money for those in our community affected by cancer and we want you on our team. The enclosed sponsorship package includes a range of sponsorship levels. Any monetary donation is appreci-ated. We have experienced the power of community. Wings of Hope Benefit Concert June 26, 2016 3:00pm-3:30pm Pre-Concert Show; 3:30pm Benefit Concert Join us at the Colonial Theater, 227 Bridge St, Phoenixville, PA for our third annual benefit concert. Come for a night of mu-sical performances from the area’s top performers/musicians. Connect with your community and help us raise money for those impacted by cancer.

Wings of Hope Raffle Coming Fall 2016 Please stay tuned for additional information regarding our 1st

annual Wings of Hope raffle event. It will be a fun-filled night

loaded with fantastic raffles and prizes. A portion of the pro-

ceeds will be donated to local charities/organizations to help

those affected by cancer.

2011 - Donated almost $5,500 to

The V Foundation for Cancer Research

2012 - Raised $7,600 and made a Silver Level donation to the

Make-a-Wish Foundation

2013 - Raised $5,600 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation

2014 - Raised $13,000 for Make-A-Wish and For Pete’s Sake

Cancer Respite Service

2015 - The Wings of Hope Benefit Concert raised over $20,000

to donate to Make-A-Wish

and For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite

2015 - The Wings of Hope Golf Tournament raised over $7000

to donate to a local family and Camp Sunshine
