The Neumann Equipment Range of Commercial Fishing Winches are designed around the legendary Jaden Winches of the 1980's and 1990's. These winches are now fitted with Rexroth reduction hubs, fail safe multi disc auto lock brakes and highly efficient axial piston hydraulic motors.

The drive system combined with our updated winch design has been fully FEA engineered to withstand the high demands and day to day stresses applied by the fishing industry.

When purchasing a Commercial Fishing Marine Winch, you can feel confident in Neumann Equipment designed and manufactured products. From the design stage though to the dispatch, our Quality Assurance Systems fully comply with AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008.

Our production facility at Currumbin on the Gold Coast enables us to manufacture and test every winch, ensuring your new winch will provide reliable service in the harsh marine environment.

Neumann Equipment offer a standard range of hydraulic Trawl Winches, as shown below. Electrically driven units are also available as an option.

Using our experienced in house design team we can manufacture custom Trawl Winches to suit your specific requirements.

Compact planetary drive gearbox - Rexroth GFT;

Rexroth hydraulic motors (or optional electric drive);

Automatic drum lock - multiple disc brake;

Winch drum is supported with a fully sealed self-aligning outrigger bearing;

Winch base and drum are fabricated from grade 250 carbon steel, 316 stainless steel optional;

Optional rope diameters are available;

Heavy duty marine protective coating.

Neumann Equipment Try Winches are versatile with their compact design, making them suitable to be used as small lazy line winches.

The electric or hydraulic system controls the dynamic drum braking, while the fail safe multi-disc brake locks the drum while in a stationary position.

The vertically mounted motor minimises the winch footprint, increasing usable deck area.

There are two power options available: electric or hydraulic. (See table below for details).

Larger units are available to suit specific requirements.

Bevel-helical reduction gearbox;

Braked electric motor or hydraulic motor with fail safe brake;

Neumann Equipment electric and hydraulic Windlass Anchor Winches are designed and manufactured from tough, high quality components for reliability at sea.

There are two configurations for the Windlass Anchor Winches:

Chain gypsies retrieve the chain and feed into a locker below;

Drums which store the chain and rope on a drum.

The Windlass Anchor Winch units are either hydraulically or electrically driven and controlled.

The Windlass Anchor Winch gypsy and windlasses are manufactured with components made from a range of materials including steel, cast iron or bronze.

Neumann Equipment’s range of Windlass Anchor Winches includes the following standard specifications:

Worm or bevel-helical gearbox;

Gear or geroler style motors (or optional electric drive);

Optional fail safe brake;

Gypsy and capstan are cast to suit your requirements;
