Being on the ward in the isolation unit is kind of similar in some ways. One of the differences that I’ve seen is that it’s a 16- beds unit and we’re averaging like 8 to 10 corpses a day – some of them are dead on arrival – is just the a number of people dying in fre Freetown e time - is yeah huge These is …You can have a little ..er. - a little breathing space there so otherwise it fogs up Getting on to the unit and being able to help patients to drink water – to do that for one day is worth coming back. Because the beds get full, loads of people wanna get in, anyone can be an Ebola suspect and so it’s really fraught y’know fraw (???) tryin’ to keep Ebola suspects out of the main hospital but trying to keep the main hospital still providing the services that the people need when you’ve got like people like piling up at the entrance and cars coming with corpses in the back and then driving off with them before you get a chance to … to …er… test a corpse or isolate it.
