The cleanup work at the Willow Boulevard/A-Site Landfill Operable Unit includes an extensive replanting and habitat restoration and enhancementprogram. The project team worked with ecologists and botanists to develop a restoration plan that includes a diverse mix of native plants to helpstabilize the river banks, provide habitat for desirable native wildlife, and serve as a natural barrier between the Lakewood neighborhood and thelandfill. The mix of plants that will be used in each of the habitat restoration zones across the site is listed below.
