Willoughby Library Afternoon Movie: Toy Story Toy Story 4 releases in theaters on June 21. Join us as we relax, eat popcorn and watch the first Toy Story! Thursday, June 20 2 pm Willoughby Library Afternoon Movie: Lion King The live action Lion King releases in theaters soon! Join us as we relax, eat popcorn and watch the original animated Lion King. Monday, July 15 2 pm Willoughby Library Family Movie Nights Join us on the lawn of Citizens Bank to enjoy an outdoor movie experience for the whole family! All movies start at 6:30 pm and are presented in conjunction with the Willoughby Police & Parks and Recreation departments.

Planting Seeds for Wellness Get up close to Mother Nature by planting some seeds for wellness. We will dig right into the goodness of gardening by getting our hands dirty and starting our own home garden. You’ll leave with a special plant to nurture at home plus all the info you need to pick the perfect veggies to add to any mealtime. After we plant, we’ll do a fun exercise together that is great for both rainy and sunny days. This class will be outside, weather permitting. Mon Jul 1 2 pm Willowick The Great Space Caper by Madcap Puppets Mad-Cap Puppets perform with life-size puppets in celebration of the 2019 summer reading theme A Universe of Stories. Famous space explorer Buzby crash lands his spaceship on a strange planet and forms an unlikely friendship with a stranded alien named Galax. Together they uncover the mysteries of our universe as they search for a new planet that the funny little creature can call home. Ages 5-14. Parents are welcome to attend. Painting Rocks at ArtsFest Paint a rock to hide in the community. We provide the supplies, you provide the imagination! Sat Jul 20 10 am-4 pm Willoughby Space Robotics Mini space ships called Ozobots have landed and now you get to drive them! Ozobots are small robots with lots of capability. You will learn about the hardware that makes these little robots so mighty and develop coding skills that will allow you to teach your robot tricks. Best of all, you will learn these skills without the need for a tablet or laptop and your coding tools will be markers. Learn how to drive your mini spaceship and you can earn your own spaceship driver’s license. Fri Jul 26 2-3 pm Willoughby Hills Fly Me to the Moon: NASA Astronaut Interview In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo Moon Landing, join us for a program about key historical figures involved in US space exploration. Enjoy a video presentation by NASA officials about the progress made in the space race since we walked on the moon in 1969. At 6 pm, the family movie Hidden Figures will be shown. Coleman, the first African American

earn her international pilot’s license in

France. Bessie Coleman has inspired

many women to overcome obstacles

and achieve their dreams.
