An article which appeared in "Diario Laa Americas," a Spanish daily newspaper published in Miam~, on March 1,. 1960, under the heading, "THE SECOND FRONT OF ESCAMBRAY DISSOLVED," is as follows:

''HAVANA, Cuba, Februan- 29 (UPI)- .. The revolutionary organization, Second Front of Escambray, decided to dissolve itself and to incorporate its forces · in the. July 26 Movement of the Prime Minister, Dr. FIDEL CASTRO .

"Second Front of Escambray was the name adopted by a group of guerrillas who fought against the Drees. of the dictatorship of FULGENCIO BATISTA in the Sierra del Escambray, . in the Prov~e of Las Villas, forming a _ second rebel :front while the revolutionary forces of FID~L CASTRO were fighting in the

"Two of the signars of the agreement to dissolve were the Commanders ELOY GUTIERREZ MENOYO and WILLIAM MORGAN. The former left an elegant bar which he had in Havana and took up arms against the BATISTA regime. . His brother was killed by BATISTA's troops

It is noted that WILLIAM ALEXANDER MORGAN is a native of Toledo, Ohio, and served in the CASTRO revolutionary forces with the rank of Major. He received considerable publicity for his deeds during the revolution and also subsequently in reportedly thwarting an invasion attempt by Dominican Republic forces. He remained in Cuba under the CASTRO regime and has lost his. United States Citizenship and according to newspaper reports he was recently arrested by CASTRO and charged with counter revolutionary activities. He has since been executed.

CONSTANTINE N. KANGLES is an attorney with offices at 100 LaSalle Street, Chicago. He assisted the 26th of July Movement in complying with the Registration Act and until the spring of 1960 was legal counsel for the Cuban Government. He is well known by most people connected with the CASTRO forces and Government.
