Responsible for the management and maintenance of multiple K-12 school networks comprised of 500-

1200 computers each, along with all site based servers, LAN/ WAN network switches and routers, voice

and data patch panels/ connections, fiber optic/ CAT5 cabling, end user peripherals and all student/ staff/

faculty software applications.

Provide technical leadership and operational support to school region site based Network Infrastructure

Support Technicians, a team comprised of 166 individuals supporting close to 500 locations. Respond to

requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, and electronically by utilizing help desk ticket

management process daily.

Develop and implement standards-based solutions for software distribution, application packaging,

scripts, operating system deployments, in order to establish a functional desktop hardware architecture

Director of Information Technology April 1998 to January 2001

Reported to the Chief Executive Officer of this leading manufacturer and distributor of prepaid

telecommunication products and services while restructuring the existing IT Department to streamline

functionality and efficiency in order to better serve the corporation users, three remote facility distribution

centers, and a national sales team.

Effectively participated in the migration of the corporation’s accounting/ inventory control application by

acting as a liaison between the team of developers and end users. Directed the procurement, delivery

and assembly of new workstations, servers, and related furnishings for the new IT/ POS build out within

the corporate facilities.

Assisted in the development of Blackstone’s innovative point-of-sale system. Influential in the hardware/

network systems integration necessary for the processing of credit cards with the sale of prepaid products

into one POS terminal.
