STUDENT SAFETY For the safety of our students, it is extremely important that the car park is only used by staff members and authorised personnel. Children are very hard to see behind cars and their acons can be unpredictable, therefore, we would like to minimise the presence of students near the car park. Please take care as you drive near the school, parcularly during high traffic mes (8:30- 9:30 am and 2:30-3:30 pm). It would also be greatly appreciated if all parents and caregivers encourage students to use the pedestrian crossing when crossing the road. The crossing alerts drivers that pedestrians are around and they need to slow down. To ensure that we know who is in the school during school hours we ask that all parents, caregivers and visitors report to the office before going to any of the classes. Aendance at whole school events does not need to be reported to the office. STAFF UPDATE There have been a few staff changes this term. Mrs Madanat is now on maternity leave for the rest of the year. REWARDING ATTENDANCE

This term we have started a system to encourage

class will place all students names in a pencil case.

If a student is late or absent their name will be

removed. At the end of the week a name will be

drawn from the remaining names in the pencil case

and that student from each class will receive an
