The UVMC campus provided a great learning environment.
Tent races were a blast!!!!!
Excellent preparation for our future camping adventure in May 2014.

These activities empowered the interns to problem solve, define personal space and develop a real sense of “what they bring to the table.”

The WI experience was extended to UVPS alumni, who also stood “ ”, defining comfort levels of life beyond their intern days.
Canoeing on Lake Loramie
A realization of ways to exercise, relax with friends, debrief career/independence issues and recognize the beauty of the environment was stated by the alumni.
Left the alumni with the desire to seek out other local outdoor opportunities.
Wilderness Inquiry: We miss you and can’t wait to see you again!!!
In closing: Here I am in the middle of this photo with a parent, an intern, and WI staff. How fun is my job!?! I cannot wait to rise in the morning to what SEARCH has for me. My desire is that each person with a disability has the same opportunity to discover what they are born to do. This “Wilderness experience” has opened doors, empowered these ones, and has made a lasting impression that is effecting their personal journey. BIG thanks to Greg Lais & your Wilderness Inquiry Staff, Kevin Webb with Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation for the financial support , Project SEARCH staff, Upper Valley Medical Center and the Milligan Family.
