Wi-Fi Configuration On Laptops And Mobile Phones

Hello All,Please find below the settings of imtsecure for Android and iPhone Users.

For Iphones:

1. Go to Settings -> WiFi

2. Go to Other

3. Enter the Network Name as imtsecure

4. Security: WPA2-Enterprise

5. Click Join

6. Once you join, enter the username as vf@imt.edu and password as imt@137

For android platform:

1. Download the application Wifi Advance Configuration Editor (WifiACE)

2. Go to Wifi and start with the detected imtsecure network. If you do not find it, create a new network with the name imtsecure.

3. SSID: imtsecure

BSSID: blank

Hidden SSID: checked

Adhoc (only for CM6): unchecked

Adhoc Channel Frequency: nothing

Key management: IEEE8021X

Auth Protocol: OPEN

Group Ciphers: all

Pairwise Ciphers: TKIP and CCMP

Security Protocols: Both

4. EnterPrise Configuration:

EAP : PEAP

Phase 2: None

Identity: vf

Anonymous Identity: none

Password:imt@137

Client Certificate: None

CA Certificate: None

Private Key: None

WPA PreShared Key: None

WEP Keys: None

Note: WifiACE may not work on ICS and JellyBean versions on certain phones.

Also, the following is the User ID and Password for imtsecure:

UserID: vf@imt.edu

Password: imt@137

This can also be accessed from the CDL campus.
