Site Rehabilitation Program The Site Rehabilitation Program (SRP) provides funding from the Government of Alberta directly to oil and gas service contractors in the form of a grant to complete wellsite, pipeline and/or facility abandonment and reclamation work. The purpose of the SRP is to stimulate the economy by immediately getting Alberta’s oil and gas labour force back to work, accelerate abandonment and reclamation work, and complete a large volume of environmentally-signifcant work in a short period of time. SNC-Lavalin is an eligible contractor under SRP who can complete the following grant-funded environmental work: Phase I Environmental Site Assessments Phase II Environmental Site Assessments • Remediation • Reclamation • Vegetation Management • Detailed Site Assessments SNC-Lavalin has completed wellsite remediation and reclamation projects throughout Alberta in all land uses. We offer a comprehensive environmental consulting team with extensive experience developing and executing environmental assessment and remediation projects. Our multidisciplinary team includes environmental technologists and scientists, biologists, hydrogeologists and regulatory, remediation and risk assessment specialists. We are leaders in site assessment, remediation and regulatory compliance and have the expertise necessary for managing all stages of an environmental project from Phase I ESA to Reclamation closure in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
