Branded QR Code

Part of the campaign was to utilize “brandable” QR codes directing users to proprietary promotional materials.

Microsoft Tag technology was chosen to allow the clients logo not only to be present on the promotion but to become part of the code itself.

Black and white QR codes run the risk of looking generic and may serve to confuse or distract the consumer, with MS Tag, the code is consistent with the brand.

I designed and programmed the code on the next slide using elements from a SoBe mailer that had the scale pattern and then overlaid the darker lizard on the background.

By downloading Microsoft’s Tag reader to a smartphone, you will find that the following code brings you to SoBe’s mobile site

Campaign Logo

I designed the following logo using PowerPoint as I was drafting it, and worked with a graphic designer on staff to clean it up.

This logo was used in our promotional materials and prominent in obtained media space
