What are the next steps?

Access Level Definition Examples

1. Local Access Keep your app locally deployed to your Yammer network and users (keep app as is)

Apps that are meant just for your organization’s internal use

2. Global Access Grant access for any Yammer network/user to login to your app

Apps that you would like to share with your customers and other networks, but are not consumer-ready

3. Publish to App Directory

If you meet our standards for the Yammer App Directory, we can grant global access AND publish you on Yammer’s public App Directory

4. Publish to App Directory and App Feature

If you meet our standards for the App Directory AND an App Feature – We will publish you in the App Directory and co-promote your app in the Directory, Yammer Blog, and Yammer social channels.

3. Enable viral growth for your app through invites

Create a valuable freemium or free trial application that uses Yammer to authenticate users.

Send activities to Yammer’s Recent Activity Ticker via Open Graph Objects, and/or enable users to post app activity in their Yammer newsfeeds.

Allow your users to invite their Yammer colleagues to try your app. Suggestion – Use Yammer’s “ Invite Relevant User Algorithm” to recommend the users they are most likely to invite.
