• Television reaches over 90% of New Zealanders in an average week*
• 2.4m New Zealanders tune into TV ONE and TV2 each day**
• In 2008, New Zealand’s top 20 television shows among all people aged 5+ were on TVNZ’s channels****
• Television is a high impact medium, engaging the viewer through sight, sound and motion
• Viewers are generally in a relaxed, receptive state
• TVNZ offer cost effective ways for advertisers to reach viewers both in peak time (6pm – 10.30pm) or off-peak time (6am – 6pm).
• Advertiser’s have the flexibility to decide on level of spend – they’re not locked into a set size or placement
• Advertiser’s can advertise regionally (through traditional viewing and through SKY) on TV ONE, and can target niche audiences by programme
