Major Changes to

Camp for 2017

Due to circumstances beyond our control we have been re-clustered for the 2017 camping

year and will now be camping with two additional units. We look forward to the networking

opportunities and new classes this will provide our campers and teens. With that being said

we will have some changes in the way we are handling registrations. We will be moving to a

one day registration day in mid April, as soon as we have the date we will let our 4-H Families

know. We have a reduced number of campers we can bring to camp for 2017 so making the

one day registration a priority is a must.

What is one day registration?

We will be available for a set amount of time, probably 4-8pm to take camp

registration forms and payments

Camp registration forms can still be mailed in but will be processed at the end of the

one day registration . Mailing your forms in does not guarantee you a spot at camp.

Full and partial scholarships are available

Club News

4H Reporters Report November 15th 2016 Frederick County 4h Shooting Education Club

Our club has done quite a bit in the past month, and

have more planned for the upcoming months. One of

the things we did was the Hunter T. Crane Memorial

Trap Shoot on October 22nd. We had 7 youth attend

and we got 6 youth awards (I'm sure our seventh

member was close to getting an award but there were

none left). We also went to the Achievement Program at the Winchester Church of God. Thirteen of

our members received awards and most of them received more than one award. For our upcoming

events we are planning on being in the Christmas parade, and soon after that have a Christmas

party.

If you would like to have your club news included in the monthly newsletter, please have your reporters send their reports to [email protected] no later than the 20th of each month to have it

included in the next months newsletter.
