Whole School Uniform Rules
We hope that our students take pride in wearing the school uniform that identifies them as
a member of the Lewes Old Grammar School community.
We recognise that there are pupils who may prefer more flexible uniform options. Please
contact our Head of Pastoral Care, Mrs Lucy Roberts ([email protected]), with any
individual queries. We want our uniform.
Please note:
Pupils are expected to look smart at all times.
Any pupil temporarily not wearing the correct uniform requires a letter / email from
a parent or guardian explaining the reason. This should be sent to the form tutor.
Pupils who do not follow the uniform rules will receive sanctions.
Every item of personal clothing should be named. Schoolblazer offer a name-
taping service
Where it states (optional) this means that it is not compulsory to purchase.
However, if one of these garments is required it must be purchased
from Schoolblazer.
Please read these rules carefully to avoid issues.
The following guidelines are to help ensure that students uphold the reputation of the
school within the wider community.
* These items must be purchased from Schoolblazer. All items are compulsory unless
otherwise stated
