Blindness is your enemy – observation, your closest friend!

Your body has a voice.

When it’s happy, it responds efficiently – you eat, drink, sleep, and poop regularly.

The mere act of your body and mind sailing effortlessly through all things physical, mental, psychological, emotional, and cognitive is your body saying, “I am happy.”

When your body is not happy it speaks to you by way of symptoms – a physical or mental feature – a clue – your body is asking for your attention and action.

Observation with intention puts you in a powerful position of becoming aware of how your body is trying to get your attention. Critical clues give you the lens to uncover the drivers and triggers of your symptoms, including what you call anxiety.

Remove the offender and/or add the missing element that your body is crying out for and your body will respond by being happy, balanced, and behaved.

The good news is that your body is designed to heal, balance, and be happy when it has what it needs. So, let’s get sleuthing!

LOOK at your body – What do you see? LISTEN to your body – What do you hear?

Focus on your breath – What do you feel or know? Capture everything. Write it down.

❖ How do you feel when you wake up in the morning? Fresh? Tired? Poor Motivation? Noisy Head? ❖ Do your joints hurt? Which ones? When? What age were you when you first noticed their ache? ❖ Do you have oily skin? Dry skin? ❖ Do you bloat after foods or beverages? Which ones? ❖ What specific foods or spices bother you? In what way do they bother you? Every time? ❖ Does your tummy ever ‘roll’ unexplained? ❖ Headaches? When? How long? Explore Your Mood

Decades of science tell us that anxiety is not rooted in the brain. Rather, the root cause can begin in our body. In this exercise, explore your mood for more Right-For-YOU strategy clues.

A FEW COMMON SYMPTOMS IN OUR COMMUNITY:

❖ Are you often irritable for no reason? Moody? ❖ Do you snap at those around you? Can you control the snapping? ❖ Do you feel angry for no apparent reason? ❖ Does your mood shift up or down quickly with little warning or cause? ❖ Do you have great periods of optimism followed by periods of great pessimism? ❖ Frustrated? Overwhelmed? Worried? Fearful?

Pay attention to WHEN your mood shifts and for how long the shift persists? What were you doing just before your mood shifted? Can you control the shift? What/who is involved – people, a transition, a task, a deadline, a certain food or beverage, a hair treatment, or when visiting grandma’s house?

Now, let’s build. What connections surprised you?

Our guess is that if you’re still working the exercises, you have pages of observations and your head is swimming in questions - What does it mean? How do I make sense of this? How am I supposed to know what my body wants from me? What do I do next?

All good and appropriate questions. We asked the same. The difference, we didn't have anyone who could address the questions, teach, or support next steps.

You will address ONE OBSERVATION with micro attention to flush out a connection with the goal of identifying an action that will make a difference.

1. Ex: OBSERVATION - After drinking a green smoothie for breakfast, anxiety spiked & tummy didn’t seem too happy. NOTE - Had a hard time heading out of the house remainder of day. ACTION - Gave up all greens for three days.

NOTE- When removing greens completely, I noticed a lessening in anxiety. Clue

2. Ex: OBSERVATION - After dying my hair with (name the product) (date), mood took huge dip, anxiety spiked while processing. NOTE – Anxiety high for two days, falling back a bit over the next 2 days. ACTION - Made decision to research non-toxic, natural hair & skin products. NOTE - Used (name non-toxic hair dye) (date) Felt a slight spike in

anxiety this time, not as bad as the last product. Will share with support team and research further. Clue

The correlations begin to show you that what happens in your brain might actually first be happening to and in your body.
