English Quakers
They wanted to come for religious toleration because they did NOT like being told how to worship. They also
came for a chance to move up in life and people could buy land for a small price.
The English Quakers were mostly craft workers or merchants , not
always farmers .They thought that everyone was equal. They didn’t like
the idea of war.
