HOW WE RAISE FUNDS
Members of the Prescott Lions Club continue our 70-year tradition of volun-tarily performing activities in Prescott and Yavapai County that benefit local organizations and charities in helping those in need in our community. We al-so directly help needy area residents with sight and hearing assistance.

Membership in the Prescott Noon Lions is about 100 members.

PRESCOTT NOON LIONS
Here are a few of the many reasons to be proud of membership in the Prescott Noon Lions:
Led the way in vision screening 1258 Yavapai County elementary school stu-dents in 2018.
Provide eye exams and glasses for in-come challenged Yavapai County resi-dents using the Mobile Eye Care Van.
Donations to 18 local charitable groups by our Contribution Committee from the funds we have raised.
Lions Club International recognized us with the “Best Continuing Project Award” in 2006-2007 for our paper recycling.
Raised $24,529 for Hurricane Harvey.
Since 2010, our Club conducted three very successful Emergency Food Drives.
Donated 750 Coats via Coats for Kids in 2018.
In 2013, Northern Arizona’s Association of Fundraising Professionals named us the Outstanding Non-Profit Organization.
Helped Yarnell recover after the disas-trous Yarnell Hill fire, by holding a food drive, partnering with United Way, help-ing the town’s only food market survive and treating its kids to a movie & lunch.

Lions is the world’s largest service or-ganization. It serves in more than 200 countries through its more than 1,400,000 members and 47,000 Clubs. Since 1968, Lions Clubs International Foundation has donated more than $1 billion to humanitarian projects around the world. Lions was ranked #1 non-governmental organization in a 2007 study by the Financial Times.
