DIIS • Who we are and what we do
established 2003 independent research institution for
international studies, financed primarily by the Danish state
research and analysis within the areas of globalisation, security and development
participate in national and international debates and academic networks
assess Denmark’s foreign and political situation and inform the Danish media, politicians and the public

variety of academic backgrounds(social studies, international development studies, military studies, anthropology...)
contribute to the education of researchers at home and in developing countries
