T o bring a feeling of festive happiness in the employees, Synapse team celebrated Holi on March 17th, 2011. e celebrations commenced with awarding funny titles to the team members, followed by the ‘Treasure Hunt’ game. In this game, the treasures that the participants were supposed to hunt for, were kept with the employees of different functions/teams and the participants T he Young Leaders Professional Development Group organized an ‘Essay Writing Competition’ in all the three Noida offices on March 29th, 2011. e competition was aimed to create awareness on the contemporary issues, to test and improve the writing skills of the participants which are the prerequisites for professional excellence. e group extends its heartiest congratulations to all the participants, winners and gives special thanks to the organizers and judges for their commendable efforts and support! were supposed to reach out to them (on the basis of the clues provided) and wish them ‘Happy Holi’. is way, the game gave Synapse team an opportunity to interact and bond with the employees working in other functions. To add sweetness to the celebrations, delectable Gujjiya and andai were served. e celebration concluded with colouring each other in shades of Gulal, love and happiness. B irlasoft Hyderabad Office launched a ladies club, called ‘Famina’ on the occasion of Women’s Day. e multiple objectives of the club are to add fun at work and provide a platform to the women folk at Hyderabad to share their experiences, problems at workplace and associate to resolve these problems. To achieve these objectives, a meeting, led by HR would be held every quarter. To celebrate Women’s day and the commencement of the club, a medical specialist was invited to deliver a lecture on cervical cancer on March 8th, 2011. e lecture was followed by the discussions on the modus operandi of the club and the cake cutting ceremony. All the Birlasoftians were dressed in blue and came together to cheer the Indian team. By 2 p.m., the employees had assembled at the Breakout area. e tattoos of Indian flag added color and vibrancy to the thrilling atmosphere. Furthermore, snacks and coolers were served to rejuvenate the employees.
