Millions of children live in extreme poverty. they suffer from hunger and disease, and all too often are neglected or abused. Here are a few of the heartbreaking facts:

At Compassion we take stewardship seriously. We

have been commended for our financial integrity

by organizations such as the American Institute

of Philanthropy. More than 80 percent of our

expenditures go to program expenses for children,

and less than 20 percent are spent on fundraising

and administration.

We require Christ-centered program

implementation and accountability of all our

church partners around the world. Compassion

regularly conducts internal financial audits, and

undergoes annual audits by an external auditor.
