to need take a cruise, go sailing and explore.

The Whitsunday Islands are at the very heart of the Great Barrier Reef, World Heritage

Site. Only 8 of the islands are habited, leaving the other 66

to National Park land.

Hill Inlet lookout, via a guided bush walk; explore the extraordinary pure silica sand

at Whitehaven Beach; and go snorkelling in the dazzling turquoise waters, brimming

Airlie Beach, the gateway to the

Whitsundays, is located in North Queensland.

You can drive or get an express bus service such

as the Greyhound. It is 1150 KMs north of Brisbane

and 630 KMs south of Cairns. You can fly into

Whitsunday Coast Airport (PPP) at Proserpine.

Then it’s a 30-minute shuttle or taxi to Airlie

Beach. Rail service to Proserpine with

Bus or Taxi transfer to

Airlie Beach.

Prima provides small group sailing adventures around the Whitsundays. Prima was built for charters in the Whitsundays and is comfortable, lovingly presented over the helm with plenty of seating. There is a large saloon and dining area that can fit all 12 guests at once. The deck has a shaded canopy over the helm with lots of seating, plus a cushioned area for sunbathing. Bring your own drinks and store them in the guest fridge for easy access. No two trips are the same as we take you from one carefully selected, idyllic island location to the next.
