Research on Eating Disorders and Suicidality (REDS) Lab Undergraduate Research Assistant 2013-May 2015 Projects: Over-exercise and its relationship to acquired capability for suicide, belongingness, and burdensomeness.

• Acquired psychophysiological data (e.g., pain tolerance, pain threshold) with an algometer.

• Led participants through research procedures and collected data. Perceptions of Media Images: Facial EMG Study

• Hooked up participants to a facial electromyography system to monitor facial muscle movement during exposure to certain media stimuli.

• Monitored a BioPac machine and used AcqKnowledge software. • Led participants through research procedures and collected data.

Cognitive Bias Modification for Perfectionism Study • Led participants through research procedures and collected data.

Cognitive and Emotional Processes Related to Acquired Capability • Hooked up participants to electrocardiography equipment and

electrodermal equipment. • Acquired psychophysiological data (e.g., electrocardiography,

electrodermal activity) with BioPac hardware and software. • Acquired participant pain tolerance with an algometer. • Monitored a BioPac machine and used AcqKnowledge software. • Led participants through research procedures and collected data.
