We are here.
Young St
Welcome! A really wonderful part of my role here at the Community House is to greet and welcome all the people who visit the House. Every day, there is a stream of famil-iar faces, and a trickle of new faces, all of them looking for a safe and friendly ex-perience and a sense of belonging. One special way we do that is our “Welcome to Leongatha” morning tea (more de-tails inside). New residents (and anyone who wants to say “hello”, really!) are invit-ed to come along, meet friendly faces and discover lots of information about the community you’ve moved into. Our program of activities also offers a range of ways for people to participate, from joining us for a friendly social chat at our Coffee Club mornings, to engaging with other people in a range of hobby and leisure activities, through to enrolling in more formal accredited training courses. And of course, there are plenty of volunteering opportunities as well! I’m privileged to be part of an or-ganisation that offers all of this, so please stop in and say “hello”; I’d love to meet you. Eunice Donovan Coordinator
